Good thoughts to all those who are having issues. As if pregnancy isn't stressful enough.
I had a weird dream last night that my OB told me that she wanted me to "practice" BFing so she sent me home with a newborn puppy. I made my chocolate lab BF her instead lol.
Haha oh geez, you've got to love these crazy pregnancy dreams! I've woken up so many times going "WTF did I just dream about?!"
Haha definitely! Pretty much every night I have at least one super vivid dream that I remember and wonder wtf it was all about. I always have had rather vivid dreams but it has certainly ramped up since being pregnant!
Super random but this is the randoms thread- has anyone's belly button popped yet? Mine has become so shallow the past couple days and looks like it's right on the verge of popping which makes me sad because I hate belly buttons haha. Has yours popped? OR if you're a STM, when (if) did yours pop last time?

Mine is super shallow but I don't remember it ever popping during my other pregnancies and it was shallow forever then too.

I usually start the day with it just being shallow, with a semi pop by the end of the day (after dinner). However, I kind of have a pseudo outie to begin with so I sort of figured it would pop on the early side.
housecarder and katelou that's good to know! I'm hoping mine just stays shallow, I feel like the baby is going to give it a swift kick one time and it'll pop right out haha
Sooo because its Friday, I've spent a lot of time surfing the internets of the world wide web today. I'm starting to think that some of my back problems might be because the little lady is in a posterior position (i.e. facing forward with her spine to mine instead of the other way around). Its very common with anterior placentas and sitting at a desk chair all day, and is known to be a cause of early-ish back pain. I found that standing up and nd folding at the waist to lean over my desk helps the back pain, which was a tip from whatever article I was reading. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing, but it at least feels good to have a "thing" it might be related to lol

This is good to know. I also have an AP and have noticed consistent lower back pain in the last week or so. I thought it seemed early to always be feeling it, but this explanation makes sense!

Hm, that's interesting. I've never thought about it, but it makes sense for there to be a correlation. Anecdotally, I had anterior placenta with DD1 and had horrible back labor because she was turned funny and put pressure in the wrong places. She wasn't completely posterior, but she was malpositioned. I have anterior placenta with this baby too and I'm really hoping history doesn't repeat itself.

I have been having all of the weird dreams lately!!! Most of them have to do with some one dying or something happening after they die. Its starting to freak me out.

willow, tootsie, it does make sense as soon as you read it! The article recommending standing/walking as much as possible, sleeping totally on your side or leaned toward your stomach on a pillow instead of your back, sitting in straight backed chairs and not reclining (also trying to keep your hips above your knees when you sit), doing some very easy cat/cow stretches on all fours and just rocking side to side, spending time lying forward on a stability/maternity ball, etc. Basically anything that keeps your pelvis tilted forward instead of back and gravity pulling baby forward instead of towards your back. So far its at least helped the back pain today, so calling it a win for today! haha

Interesting about the anterior placenta and back pain, this time around I've got an AP and have been in pretty much constant pain since second tri started. Definitely didn't have this the first time around; I just thought it was because I'm chasing a toddler around. Thanks for all the tips, ginabini!

Just saw this on my Ovia app. Guess it's pretty common around now.
