I bought henry 4 pair of stride rites in a couple sizes on amazon because they're cheap and adorable. These are my favorite. He has them in his current size and the next size. $18!
mcncheese I can't believe she STILL hasn't called you!
Guys. Well, the approx. 3 of you that are here anyway. I almost bought Hunter NB size Carter's crib shoes at Target a little bit ago. I mean there aren't many things in this world more useless than shoes on a newborn. And Haden never had any. But it almost happened.
Also, heyitsmamac between this board, M15, and FB you're going to see me say the same shit like 50 times a day.
YES do it - buy the crib shoes because adorable and that's all that matters! PS. Love the name Hunter!
Thanks!
And I've decided I won't go back for that, but if they're still there next time I'm at Target I'll get them. Because whatever.

I've always wanted to buy the adorable nb crib shoes but am too practical to actually do it. Buy them and post pics so I can live vicariously through you.

Gah! Love those! Haden only has 1 pair of shoes right now which are his black Chucks, so he just wears them with everything. I was eyeing a pair of 2-strap Velcro Pumas for him but they are $40 so newp.

My 100th post.....is a cry for my wallet and help in making decisions.....
Why did you show me this?!?!?!?!?! That is sooooo cheap!!! I know B still can wear his current size, but now I'm worried about his next size up and i should buy these now because they won't be cheap then...But, how do I know what size to buy next??
Currently 4.5 extra wide.
So, do I plan on 5 extra wide? or 5 wide? or 5? or HELP!?!??!?!?!?!

I really don't put shoes on my LO bc is she isn't walking and she's home with me during the day. I have Baby Uggs that she wears out bc it's freezing here but she probably couldn't walk in them. I have some soft sole moccs for when she starts walking but I am not sure if I should be doing something with a hard sole or looking at stride rites for more support.
Those are cute! Why have I never thought to look on Amazon for cheap SR shoes.
Oh Amazon for shoes is the best! Sometimes they will run a deal, too. I just got LOs next pair of Pedipeds for $25.
She is still in 0-6 month shoes. Sigh. I think her small feet and big head are holding her back....
Wow. My LO is already in size 5. I've been putting him in ds1's old shoes for now but I'm going to need to start getting him some new ones soon. Ds1 went through a phase where he only wanted to wear dress shoes like daddy. We've only recently been able to switch him back to tennis shoes because we got him light up ones.

Argh! So many decisions.
Stride rite has soft sturdy soles for the beginning walker. They are still soft and flexible but sturdy enough for outdoor wear.

If he's currently an extra wide, I'd stay extra wide. We usually go up half a size when buying for the future. I tried a full size up and LO seemed to have difficulty walking and tripping over the extra length in front.

I know, can you believe that? I keep getting our her size smalls (6-12 month) to see if they fit yet. Nope. Looks like she'll be in XS for awhile!
We actually met in seventh grade when we had the same violin teacher. His lesson was right before mine. We didn't date until high school/college though.
My favorite name in the whole world is Winter. DH vetoed it as DD's mn though. Then my sister named her cat winter and we aren't having any more kids. So that's the end of that.

This fall we caught the BOGO sale at Stride Rites, so I bought his current size and the next 1/2 size up. The person helping us recommended going in half-sizes.
