Hey I know it's early to start talking about weight loss etc but I thought maybe we can start off slow with some sort of accountability.
I know I'm not drinking enough water or eating enough good calories. Anyone interested in a check in? What should be goals? Daily water intake is definitely my goal.
I definitely need to watch my water intake! I think I have been doing well with food. I mean I have been eating a lot of treats but I have also been eating a lot of good foods. I am also trying to walk a little further each day... I mean it's like a few blocks now but I am only like 10 days out from my C so I think that's pretty good.
Also just trying to keep my worrying in check. I had like a mental breakdown today about her head not being supported enough (which I'm sure it was) but I've been like freaking out a little about her ability to breath.

I'll participate after my mom leaves next week. She just told me her menu for the week and I'm probably going to be gaining all the baby weight I already lost back.
arbe , if you want, I could post this on a designated day, like Monday, as I did with the Healthy Pregnancy check-ins (and then stopped doing in late January, since it seemed like people lost interest!). Here are some possible questions we could post, but maybe people could suggest others, too:
How did you do this past week in terms of exercise and healthy eating?
What are your goals this week for exercise and healthy eating?
What are you struggling with (physically, mentally, emotionally)?
What are you proud of/excited about this week?
How is your relationship with LO/LOs right now helping, changing, or affecting your health goals this week?
Did you hit your goals? Were there any challenges? Did you exercise? Did you eat healthfully? Weight or inches lost? Any non-scale victories? I will continue... I will stop...
QOTW: is relationship with LO affecting this weeks goals?
Long term goal: Fit into pre-pregnancy cloths by May 23 Weekly goal: Drink gallon of water daily Did you hit your goals? No Were there any challenges? Exhaustion Did you exercise? Went for a walk one day Did you eat healthfully? Mostly, Weight or inches lost? 4.5lbs down Any non-scale victories? I feel healed, no longer sore. I will continue... tracking food in MFP I will stop... finishing foot off my kids plates
QOTW: is relationship with LO affecting this weeks goals? I guess it is because she loves to be held and I love holding her.

Long term goal: maintain weight while BFing Weekly goal: get outside and go for some walks! Also to meal plan and cook meals at home rather than doing fast food or takeout. Challenges: DH is back at work so today for example I am on my own with 2u2 at dinnertime. Did I exercise? I went for two walks yesterday Did I eat healthfully? Taking steps in the right direction but still a lot of room for improvement. Weight lost? Down 20 lbs... and total AW, but I am under 200 pounds for the first time in 4 or 5 years! Non-scale victories: I feel really good about my body image, unlike last time. I will continue: walking, cooking, not planting it on the couch 100% of the days I'm home I will stop: buying and eating red velvet Oreos hahaha QOTW: It is hard to get time away to walk and such when LO is attached to the boob all the time and I am too terrified to attempt a walk with 2 kids and the dog. Luckily if I plan around nap time and wear LO after a good feeding I am usually okay.
Bonus: I am not on MFP but I am on FitBit if anyone wants to be friends! Would have to look up my username...
Weekly goal: not ready for goals yet, still in survival mode
Still recovering from the C but trying to walk everyday. I def feel way better but it's frustrating to not be 100%
Weight lost: I am down about 15 lbs from birth, so I don't really have that far to go to my pre-pregnancy weight, but eventually I would like to lose a bit more than that, I want to take it really slow though because I care about BF more and don't want to mess with my supply.
QOTW: as I said before I'm not ready for goals yet, I think it's more important to establish this time with LO and BF and just getting some sleep when I can.
Weekly - make good food choices, stay away from eating out
Haven't been cleared yet. Staying active in the house so that's probably helping.
Weight Lost - down 18lbs from birth, have about 15 to go
QOTW: not really; will work out while she's asleep. Once I'm cleared, I would like to do a DietBet to motivate me to work out and re-establish good habits.

Diet Coke is my crack right now. It's the only way I'm surviving. But I *hope* to be able to start eating better. H and j have made a deal to start keeping each other accountable and stick to our weekly menu (we meal plan a month in advance) in order to start a lifestyle change. FX that I can stick to it through the sleep deprivation.
