Good morning and happy Wednesday! Sorry this is a bit delayed, I've been in meetings all morning.
I read a post on the Scarry Mommy blog that stuck with me last week entitled "I Photographed My Children at All the Wrong Times."
The point was she had been recording and photographing all of her children's big moments in life such as firsts and concerts. When she looked back years later she was sad to see she had missed out on documenting the little every day moments like her kids climbing into bed with her in the mornings, a memory she holds dear as her kids are growing out of that stage.
It made me think so I'm passing it along. Do you feel you are focusing on the every day moments and gathering the memories as you would like? That's our theme for today - stopping to smell the proverbial roses!
1. What's going on with work this week?
2. What's going on with home this week?
3. Do you feel you are striking a good balance between focusing on the every day and documenting the "big moments?"
4. Do you think being a working mom detracts from your ability to balance or focus on the little moments? Or does it help because you hold each moment with your family precious? Or do you find these questions indulgent and ridiculous? (It's ok you can tell me!)
5. GTKY Stolen from this week's Working Moms Board GTKY thread: Do you wear jewelry? What is your jewelry style and any particular designers or brands you are loyal to for jewelry? Bonus: Pics of wedding/engagement rings might be fun since it's February!
