Toddler Snacks

I'm looking for more healthy snack ideas for on the go for DD. Preferably ones that aren't too messy. Haha.  

Our current go to choices are apple slices, cheese strings, dried fruit, and air popped popcorn, but she gets bored and I don't want to fill her up with junk food.

We do a lot of fruit here. Also red/orange/or yellow bell pepper slices are a big hit. Those are pretty much the only snacks we do, since she would snack constantly and not eat meals.

Cucumber slices, wheat thins, carrot sticks, no sugar added fruit snacks, frozen Greek yogurt tubes,...

We are doing the toddler pouches as our morning snack still because I just can't get her to eat much green stuff unless she can just suck it down. I'd like to start making smoothies myself to accomplish the same thing on the cheap but I'm not sure she will fall for it

We mostly do fruit- bananas are top of the list bc they are cheap, easy to grab and go, and he loves them. Apples, strawberries, and grapes are other favorites. He gets graham crackers fairly frequently. His "treat" snacks are pretzel sticks and goldfish.

Along with what everyone else mentioned...
Rice cakes, peanut butter crackers, craisins/raisins, Annie's bunny crackers, whole grain animal crackers, dry cereal in a snack cup. I'm not sure if all those are "healthy" options just some of what we do.

@fiveohfive I've been making DD a smoothie every morning since she was about 15 months old. She absolutely refused to drink whole milk (and I was ready to wean) and wouldn't eat veggies (still won't). It consists of milk, half a banana, handful of fresh spinach or kale (and whatever other veggie we have on hand) a few spoonfuls of strawberry greek yogurt and she absolutely loves it. I probably should mix it up a bit more with different ingredients but its just so easy when its consistently the same.

He eats cheese, crackers, peanut butter, bananas, grapes, gummies.. Basically just whatever is here that he wants.. He snacks about all day but in small amounts. At meal time he will eat at least 50% of what is on his plate.

DD is a grazer as well. Lunch is usually just a bunch of snacks and I really don't mind too much because we tend to be on the go around that time of day. That's why I try to make sure that it's healthy stuff that she's eating. She'll have a big breakfast and a decent supper if we don't let her snack after her nap.

Veggies and hummus

I wish we could do hummus. I gave it to him and he loved it, but all around his mouth turned red. When I washed his face well with soap and water, it went away, so I think it was contact dermititis. I asked the pedi about it and she said there's no way to tell the difference between CD and an allergy so I should avoid giving it to him for "a very long time." Whatever that means. I tested it again and few months ago and the same thing happened. Idk.

How old was your DS? Have you only tried it once? Any other food allergies? Because DD actually had a huge breakout after eating humus for the first time and had allergy testing done, DH has a lot of food allergies so she was already high risk. It came back negative. I have given it to her since w/o any issues. Since Hopefully you'll get lucky and he'll be fine next time.
