katelou Glad I'm not the only one planning matching outfits! I bet Gymboree would have some. Carter's (I was at the actual store) had a couple of cute ones, mostly dresses, that went up to 4T for the older girls.
Also I hate those stupid comments from people about the sex, sorry you has to listen to one. Honestly that was part of the reason we were team green for the second because I didn't want to hear any comments about it. I swear people always find something to comment and be negative about though.

Meeting up with my friends from grad school...one who is 2 due two weeks before me! And watching all the guys get drunk off homemade honey vodka. ..so much fun.
I'm making a huge pot of sauce with meatballs and sausage since my neighbors are coming over for dinner....yum!

katelou, that comment makes no sense. That's like saying, you're having another baby? But you already have one.
Good weekend for me. Went out with friends last night, ran this morning, and my parents are visiting so H and I are heading to the city for the night. Going to see a high school friend who I haven't seen in about 6 years and having a nice dinner. Tomorrow my basketball team plays, and it's my birthday. Yay!

glaze, I always said that I would never get my kids the exact matching items (they can be the same pattern or collection, but look different), and I totally bought the same matching dresses on Carter's website two days ago (in case this one is a girl). I love the pattern, and it isn't very often I find girl things that I love, so I snatched it up for next summer, and a size larger for DD for next summer. If it's not a girl, it will just get gifted.

it just hit 10am here. So far, I have made everyone breakfast, emptied the dishwasher, scrubbed dishes and refilled the dishwasher, ran a load of laundry, emptied some things out of the pantry, wrapped a gift for a party later today, and I am about to start my second load of laundry. I have been out of bed for about an hour.
So far, my husband has gone from the bedroom to the living room couch, eaten the breakfast I made him, and hasn't moved because he is watching a soccer game. He is also going to a sporting event tonight.
Prime example of why I am not going back to work after having this kid, because this is a repeat of last weekend, even though he has a to-do list that he is suppose to be working on.

I finished up my weekend obligations already. I worked last night which was fun but exhausting. Then I took DD to a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese this morning. It was our first experience there and it's so intense. After two hours, I felt like I was on the verge of a meltdown or an outburst. Oh, and I gave my kid a gallon of sugar. There were two pitchers on the table: red and clear. I poured her what I assumed was water. Later I took a sip. Nope. Sprite. So she had her first pop (yes, I say pop. Chicago rules) today.
I love matching/coordinating outfits for siblings. Not every day but sometimes it's so cute. I am on the lookout for something adorable for a 4t girl and an infant boy. I'm also looking for really cute "big sister" and "baby brother" shirts. I never thought I'd be into that but I know DD will love it.

I seem to have caught another cold and I also forgot my Dickegis dose this morning so I am not feeling too well. I have managed to do some dishes and laundry in between relaxing and watching Netflix.

Thanks to this thread, I am now planning on matching outfits for my boys! I don't know why it never occurred to me before!
Attempted a backyard campfire this morning and was going to roast marshmallows with DS, but we just couldn't get it going and I was frustrated. Now our coats all stink like wet wood smoke.
Progress is slow on emptying the office and it's frustrating. I feel like dumping everything into garbage bags and moving on. I might just do that!

harlowjune1984 sounds like MH today except with video games. I was on bedrest and got so behind. He promised to help get caught up but only unloaded the dishwasher for me rather than put away the 5 loads of laundry he promised he'd fold and hang up if I washed them.
We survived. Back home. The drive was hellish. DS has been asleep for fifteen minutes in his crib and just woke up with a night terror. Tonight will be fun!
I'm looking forward to a day in jammies and watching movies tomorrow!
