There's a snow storm today. So we will be stuck inside all day.
Since the kids were both up early and I needed caffeine, I packed them in the car before the snow started and hit up Tim Hortons drive through for an iced capp. I'm sure it looked funny as I was leaving the house because both DD and DS were still in their pjs.
We got a $140 bill for the screening we completed at A's 18 month check. I guess our new insurance plan doesn't cover them. So I called the office and they took $100 off! Yay for nice doctors that work with you when insurance won't!
@yodasmom that's awful. A lot of dealerships have a few month warranty on used cars they sell. Does the one you bought your car from have this? They definitely owe you to get it fixed!
A really good friend of mine lives in Hawaii and is getting married there, problem is it is less than a month after my due date I really wish we could go, but it is just not going to happen. Maybe if we lived on the west coast, but I do not want to fly there from the east coast.

They do and I've brought it back to them three times already. Between that, absolutely no communication unless I send DH there personally, and the fact that they apparently drove my car 100 miles in the three days they had it the last time, I'm done unless it's through either an attorney or the consumer protection people at our local news station. I'd rather just pay the money and get on with my life.
I can certainly understand just wanting it to be over so you can move on! Sorry you're dealing with that. Hope it gets fixed this time and you don't have to worry about it anymore!

FFMC? I don't really love Hawaii. I've been there twice and spent time on multiple islands and, overall, I just found it ridiculously overpriced. Since I'm on the east coast, I'd much rather fly 4-5 hours to be at a gorgeous beach that doesn't want $30-40 for a freaking burger! Luckily, the first time I went I stayed with a good friend who grew up there. Huge money saver!

That's what my aunt says. She preferred Cancun over Hawaii. I didn't believe her.

DD3 must have hit her nose against the wall during her sleep last night. She never cried or woke up her sisters, but there was blood on her face and bedding this morning. Her nose appears a bit swollen, too. The chiropractor this morning said she gave herself a bit of whiplash. I feel so bad, even though I can't see what I should have done differently.

I've never been, and I feel like I have total FOMO if I don't just go there one time.

This is exactly why I went the second time. DH was dying to go for our honeymoon since he had never been. We actually did a cruise, which was an affordable way to see so many different islands. He said it was pretty, but he'd probably never choose to go back there vs. another vacation destination. So, I get the FOMO!
We're attempting to take the pacifier away this week. It will be our second attempt. We did it a couple of months ago, but then we did some traveling and ruined any progress we made. I'm terrified of what tonight will bring after only a 40 minute nap today!
Goooooood luck!! I hope it goes well. It'll only be a rough couple of days... Then it'll get better. And hopefully because this is your second attempt she'll catch on even more quickly.

C is playing in the pnp right now. We always have it set up for the sitters LO. She asked to get in and has been playing in there for 15 mins or so. This is monumental for me. I'm out of sight. And she's playing... With her clean underwear, but whatever. She's playing.
So instead of getting money back on taxes I owe money. They didn't tax my EI for maternity leave enough to account for the rest of the year I was working. No AC for us this year

We haven't done our taxes yet but I'm sure we will owe. It sucks!
I just found my dream-ish car. It's a 2002 Subaru Outback LL bean edition. The price is right. But it has 230k miles on it.
That's way too many miles in my book, even for a Subaru. But I know the feeling, when we were looking for a new-to-us car, I kept finding ones I liked with way too high mileage.
