Not that I don't enjoy his company. But two weeks straight of him home makes me want to have a reason to miss him. I'm hoping that the weather will start warming up soon. I need to be able to get out of this damn house.

I can barely deal with my H for 3 days in a row. I love him but he works so much that his time off is so screwy for our daily routines and his expectations are ridiculous. Like, he wants us to grocery ship as a family for fun (?) but gets frustrated when DD acts 3 and isn't perfect. I'm always ready for him to go back to work.
cabbagecabbage, That's exactly what happens here. I find his expectations for K being out and about are ridiculous. He doesn't get that outside of the controlled environment of home, things are different. And he works so much that 95% of the running around is done by me, so if he's chillin with K it's at home or somewhere kid friendly like the park

Exactly! He's the super star celebrity of our house, so he sees her for dinner and bed when she's excited to play with him. He takes her for ice cream, movies, and fun outings. He doesn't know how laundry day plays out.
I logged on to Pinterest last night for the first time in ages.
My MIL already has an entire board of decor inspiration for girls' rooms with two twin beds. For her two granddaughters, including the 21 week fetus who won't sleep in a twin bed for 2.5 years. Sheesh...

I see we share a husband.
But seriously. On one of the rough days we had, he looked at me and said "How do you do this?" He's always told me that he appreciates everything I do for the family, but this was the first time he acknowledged that he wouldn't be able to manage everything.
Anyone else ever feel like their baby must have 11 limbs in there??? The amount of ground she covers in there blows my mind! I'll feel kicks/jabs up under my ribs one second, then down low, then far right... its crazy!
Long/rough night at casa de Coco. Woke up at 1:00 AM with the worst morning sickness I've had in weeks. Was up sick until 6:30 AM. Slept till 8, then came in to work. BLEH. I'm good enough to be here (aka not throwing up) but I feel like junk.

Ha my mil is exactly like this except she doesn't pinterest. She bought a toy for an 18 month old when i was maybe 20 weeks pregnant last time. She is always asking me about things i haven't even thought about yet for example who is making the food for DDs bday party in June...

sarcaztic10 I'm very envious that your mom is buying you CDs! Mine is the complete opposite and is adamant that I'm going to get sick of using them and switch to disposables. On a related note, what are you planning on using for the newborn phase? I want to get some but keep reading conflicting reviews on any I look up.
cocobellaf I'm so sorry you're still dealing with awful MS!
ginabini that happened to me last week, one minute he was kicking/hitting away near my pelvic bone, all of a sudden I was feeling jabs a couple inches above my belly button! I imagined he must have been doing a headstand in there or something haha
Not much going on over here aside from working! I'm trying to find a comforter set for the new place and I forgot how much I hate shopping for things like this. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a set and am so picky when it comes to home decorating stuff, so this is going to be loads of fun.

I had McDonald's for breakfast and don't feel guilty about it. I'm sick of the same old crap for breakfast.
DH is out of town for an interview and I'm enjoying watching my shows and being able to use the computer all freaking day! (we have one personal computer and he's on it looking for jobs, playing pool or solitaire).

mcktymck, my parents totally think I'm going to switch to disposable as well, but I'm going to try really hard to keep it going. I have my NB stash all done and this is what I have:
24 GMD bamboo prefolds size novice 4 hemp fitted nb diapers 6 nb covers (blueberry and thirsties) 10 AIO (grovia, thirsties and smart bottom)
I frequent the CD board here daily and have checked out their FB page and everyone seems to be in agreement that a NB stash is needed since NB have such skinny legs...so I bought a stash...b/c I LOVE shopping for diapers!!!
tikoberry99 I have a mix of newborn sized diapers, mainly Imagine prefolds, a couple Imagine AIOs, and a couple Kawaii newborns. I'm worried that he's going to come out and have teeny tiny little legs and not even fit in some newborn diapers for a couple weeks (I've read that can be a problem with several of the newborn brands), which I guess is why prefolds are the best. But the thought of putting a prefold on in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep seems hard haha!

mcktymck, I am planning on baby boy to be around 8 lbs or so at birth and then possibly gain pretty quickly after (DS1 was 8 LBs 6oz and gained a pound a week for the first few months of his life). So, I decided on the GMD prefolds (36, because I know that I wont have time to do laundry super often) and 6 GMD work horse snapless size small for overnight and when we are out and about. I will also be getting 2 Thirsties covers, a RAR cover, an Imagine cover, and a Tots Bots cover all for the newborn phase. With all of those it should get me from 8 or 9 lbs through like 15 or so.
From what I have read and heard I will definitely need newborn stuff so for me I figured getting a size up from the newborn size would be best just based on the was DS1 was.
Also, we do plan to circumcise LO so we are planning on using the disposables until that heals (so we can dress it with gauze and Vaseline like we did with DS1) and then switch to our cloth.
Sorry my explanation is so long!! It sucks the your mom is not supportive of you using cloth when it has the potential to save so much money! My mom used cloth diapers with my brother and I so I guess she is more accepting because of that.
sarcaztic10 I definitely appreciate the explanation! There is so much info out there when it comes to CDing so it's nice to get info from someone who has experience with them. I think I need to invest in some work horses, I've heard nothing but great things about them! If you have any folds that worked the best for you with newborn prefolds feel free to send them my way
Ugh... tomorrow is going to be the longest day ever. Just found out there are some big wig investors coming to visit... So I have to be here by 8am, actually dress up for the day, AND go out to dinner at 7:00 (still dressed up). That is wayyyyy past my bra-needs-to-come-off deadline for the day.
I had to clean last night/this morning for the appraiser. Between that and watching DD, I decided to sit down during her afternoon nap. Now it is almost 5 and I haven't done any packing today I am off until next week for Easter, but if I don't pack now, I know it will never get done. Why does it have to be so very, very boring?
I hear you allison7, we're packing and moving this week as well! It's the last thing I want to do after working all day. I've been focusing on one room/area at a time, packing up a box or two, and then stopping for the night. It helps make it a little more bearable Good luck!

sarcaztic10, mcktymck, Seems like you two are pretty knowledgable about cloth diapers and have done a lot of research, but I wanted to share my experience. DS was so incredibly skinny at birth (midwife predicted about 8.5 lbs, he came out under 7) that newborn cloth diapers were way too big for his skinny legs. So we just used disposable for a couple of weeks until he bulked up and his penis and belly button healed - didn't want to stain cloth diapers or have it touch the umbilical cord so disposable were easier. Also, the first few poops are basically like tar and I imagine would be a pain to try to get off cloth diapers. Disposable for 1-2 weeks is just so much easier, and there will be less for you to stress about in those early, hectic weeks.
And I feel like I've mentioned this before but you didn't think it was available for you - I rented newborn diapers. Much cheaper than buying them and then when DS was about 2 months old, he was big enough for the next size - in my case, the next size adjusts until being potty trained.
