Have you ladies told anyone yet? I told my big sister today because I figured I'd need someone, found out she's also pregnant and is due 11 days before me!?!
that's awesome! My sister and I actually had the same due date with my son. They were born 2 weeks apart and it has been sooooo much fun watching them grow together.
I have been forcing down salads when I've been able. But I haven't exactly enjoyed it. I didn't try at all for my first pregnancy so I promised myself I would try harder to be healthy this time around.

We just got an email at work about how to avoid being attacked by a Canadian Goose. Apparently 2 people have already been attacked. In case you were wondering...
WHAT TO DO IF A GOOSE ATTACKS o Maintain direct eye contact and keep your chest and face pointed at the goose. o If the goose acts aggressively, calmly and slowly back away, watching for obstacles. o Maintain a neutral demeanor, i.e., do not act hostile or show fear.

This is hilarious. We have tons of geese all over the place here but no one has ever been attacked.

I wish I could share the actual PDF. It's full of pictures of angry geese and people being attacked. Makes me laugh everytime!
Happy Tuesday! Working from home today and just got DS down for his nap. Not much going on today, we will try to get a walk in before bedtime and I finally get to see DH tonight. He hasn't spent a night at home since last week Wednesday!

Ha! That is hilarious.
I like how you are supposed to maintain eye contact with the goose but also watch for obstacles while you are backing away
cheshie6, how exciting about your sister!! ashleysyn, awesome news about the betas!!
Finally getting a chance to check in with you ladies--what a crazy day! Best part was Indian buffet for lunch. I am still completely stuffed!
Also, not really feeling a lot of symptoms today I had a physical with my PCP today, and obviously told her the news. At the end, she was ordering blood work and was like, "I guess no reason for me to have them test for pregnancy!" And I kinda wanted to be like, "please do, I want to know my betas are still good..."
@chesie6 so exciting about you and your sister! My sister and BIl are at least 6 months or so from starting to TTC, but I'm glad our kids will (hopefully) be close in age.
Today was busy...the exhaustion really hit this morning so after running a couple errands I took DS to my parents' so my mom could run interference for me. They have an amazing playground in their neighborhood so we had lunch and then DS played for a couple hours; we came home and both crashed. Tomorrow we are having our new countertops installed (!!!!!!!!!!) so I need to get motivated and clear out the kitchen.
Re: food......I haven't really had legit aversions or nausea yet but the power of suggestion is strong, and I get queasy if my stomach gets too empty. Today we had Firehouse subs for lunch, Chick Fil A nuggets for a snack, and just polished off a chicken caesar salad for dinner. I don't know if there's a pattern there, but it was all pretty tasty.
