So we've heard how everyone's nights are going, what about your days? What does a typical day look like for your LO? Do you have a semi structured routine, go with the flow, etc? Do you have planned activities, set time aside for learning (and what are you working on), do you try to get out of the house everyday (more geared toward SAHM)? How much TV do you allow and when? Anything else I'm missing?
Now that DD is older I feel like I should be doing more as far as teaching her (I know she learns everyday from different experiences and just by explaining things I'm doing to her etc) and I feel like I should incorporate some more things into our daily routine. Currently she is sick and requested watching some TV and I just feel so guilty everytime I let her watch it but I know its not the end of the world. Maybe it's just me feeling like I'm struggling dividing my attention between her and her 6 week old brother.
Thanks jnetx, I know I'm pretty hard on myself a lot of the time and I'm still adjusting to another LO. I'm trying to just go with the flow for now and eventually get back into a good routine, DD and I do best that way.

I'm really not a scheduler. She wakes up around 7, gets milk+breakfast right away. We snuggle a little bit, and when she is done eating, we play and read books till lunch time. After lunch, it's nap time. When she wakes up, we play some more, and try to do some kind of craft before I have to make dinner. After dinner it's bath, books, and bedtime.
We do storytime at the library once a week, and go out for walks or to the park when we can.
I need to start incorporating some learning time. If like to work on letter and number recognition, and start writing the alphabet. She knows her colors, shapes, alphabet, and how to count to 10. She won't be able to start preschool to almost 4, due to age cutoffs.

lilqt3929, I agree with jnetx, that you should give yourself a bit of a break in terms of TV. When DD2 was born we relied on Sesame Street more than I care to admit, but it kept everyone happy and provided enough distraction for me to care for a newborn. Now I try to limit it a bit more and usually turn it on while I'm getting ready in the morning, so one half hour show. DH quite often comes home from work and allows her to watch more, but we're working on that... haha.
I'm a SAHM, but no set routine. She wakes up around 7:30 and plays in her room while I make breakfast/nurse the baby. I bring her downstairs for breakfast and then after she eats she plays and watches her show. We get out of the house every single day or we both go stir crazy. Sometimes it's the gym (I do mom and baby classes), the mall, the library, a walk outside, or an indoor play place... she's happy just being on the go and fortunately DD2 will nap anywhere as long as I bring a carrier.
We come home, have lunch, nap, and then play until dinner. We do a bath every 2nd night and then books and bedtime at 7:30.
Week days: 7:15 Wake DD and get ready 8:00 Drop off at daycare 5:30 Pick up from daycare 5:40-6:30 Watches Caillou and cries because she wants to eat all the cheese 6:30 Dinner 7:00-7:30 Play 7:30 Get ready for bed 8:00 Bedtime
Weekends: 8:00 Wakes and have breakfast 8:30-12:00 Watches tv and plays alone while I do laundry or chores 12:00 Lunch 12:30-1:30 Play 1:30-3:00 Nap 3:00-6:00 errands, outside play, fun stuff try to get out of the house stuff 6:30 Dinner 7:30 Bedtime
ETA: I don't mind TV because DD spends so much time at daycare where there is no TV. Plus as much as she wants it on she doesn't just sit and watch, she is usually playing or coloring while it's on in the background.

Days I'm home-
6:30-8:30 whenever she wakes up, plays for a bit
8:30 breakfast with sister and curious George or Daniel tiger
9:00 books, play dough, blocks, etc
10:00- sisters nap time so she plays in her room and usually watches part of a show while I give her a bottle.
10:15 move the party into my bedroom where she finishes the show and I get to put on real clothes and put away laundry
11:00- flash cards and books. The dollar store had Sesame Street number and letter flash cards that she loves. We try to read new books and lately she has been "reading" to me a lot
1:00- sister wakes up, stroller ride/walk the dog or errands out and about
2:00-2:30- lunch
2:30-4:30- nap
Sesame Street or Caillou and play until dinner around 6:30
7:15 start bedtime routine for bed around 8
She doesn't really watch the whole TV shows so I'm not as concerned with how much she watches. I also force her to talk to me about the show and repeat things throughout it so I know it's somewhat educational
