Easter!

What does everyone have planned for Easter?  

Fun traditions?  Easter basket goodies?  Meals?  

This year it's just DH, the girls and I and I have no idea what to do! We aren't going to make a huge deal out of it, but I'd like to still do something fun! Are our S13ers old enough for an egg hunt?

We will be going to Easter dinner at DHs aunts house. Ham, sweet potatoes, Deviled eggs, salads, rolls, etc. Easter egg hunt with cousins.

We'll color Easter eggs Friday, probably.


I grew up not doing Easter baskets, and would probably prefer that. However DH grew up with the baskets, and they're important to him. So, we'll do them. For now.
Easter basket for DD will have a book, some candy, gardening tools (she will have her own garden section this year), a water gun, and a kick ball.

DS will be getting a stuffed animal, mini kick ball, dump truck, plum organics teensy fruits, and puffs.

We don't have set plans just yet, we have some family coming into town tonight thru saturday and will likely see them saturday. I'm not sure if we will celebrate then or on sunday with my family. We will celebrate with the in laws next weekend since they are out of town. We will have a turkey dinner for our Easter celebration with my family (similar to thanksgiving food). We will have a small breakfast just DH, DD, DS, and I Easter morning with pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit. DD has an Easter basket filled with chalk, light up bracelet, headband, necklace, stickers, drawing pad, a $2 plastic guitar, peeps, and fruit snacks. She did have some Reese's eggs in there but I ate them, haha .

Oh and we will bring her to hunt eggs in our village saturday morning. She went last year and absolutely loved it!
