At home, we'll have his Easter basket for him to open in the morning. Then church, family Easter dinner and big Easter egg hunt for all the kids. They do a special area for little ones that's off limit to the big kids, so A will be guaranteed to find a few eggs.
Eta I forgot to say B/SIL always do an Easter egg coloring event the night before Easter. We'll go since it's a big family tradition but I don't think I'll let A get in on the dying action lol. That sounds really messy.
I hope we'll get to dying Easter eggs. We're going to the city egg hunt then a friend's daughter's 1st birthday party on Saturday. Sunday the Easter bunny will bring baskets and hide eggs at our house. We haven't planned our Easter dinner yet but we usually do lamb.
We tried egg dyeing with our church's moms group, but J wasn't really interested. We'll try it at home, too, but only a few eggs.
Sunday she'll have a small basket, we'll go to church, and we're doing dinner with MH's family. I'm trying to figure out how to get an egg hunt in the mix; it might just be at our house with the 3 of us. Or maybe we'll bring the eggs to my MIL's house. There are a few community egg hunts, but they're all on Saturday and MH works and doesn't want to miss it.
