I am currently sitting on the bathroom floor nursing DD. I normally go to the living room. My BIL is here visiting for the night. I got up for the first time to feed her and found him sleeping on the living room floor instead of our perfectly good spare bed?!?!?! I sat on my bed, but then had to change DD so have ended up in the bathroom. In other news she just slept a four hour stretch which is amazing!

I'm frustrated today. My LO has tubes in his ears and although better, he is still getting frequent ear infections even with the tubes. He's been in a lot of pain since last week and I assumed that it was teeth (he's getting all 4 canines) but I took him to the pedi last night after work and he has a fluid pocket stuck behind his ear tube. So now I need to try to get him to the ENT today to get it suctioned out.
I feel like a horrible mom for waiting so long to get it checked out, but I obviously had no idea! It's breaking my heart because he's just walking around saying, "owie, owie, owie".

Was he drunk last night? Who chooses to sleep on the floor if there's a bed!

Hugs! Don't feel bad! know how you feel. A got tubes in September and she's had 4 infections since. The last was so bad it bled. We've never had to have them suctioned out though.

Oh my gosh, poor A! Bleeding ears. Ouch. Thanks for the support though-- I really appreciate it!
Do you think they will just out grow the infections at some point?

I'm only 30 weeks but getting worried bc DS is always head up. He's currently hiccuping in my ribs. DD went head down early on and stayed there so I never really thought about it last time!

Check out spinningbabies.com and maybe look for a chiropractor who is certified in the Webster technique! Both of those worked for some ladies on my other BMB.

No...he doesn't drink. He is just weird. And I thought he was only here for one night but he is still here I told my H to let him know not to he in the living room tonight!!
Went to the farm today and Max was the 1st of the kids to pet all the animals. He has no fear... which is nice but terrifying all at once the way he gets in their faces.

That is odd! Fingers crossed he sleeps in the guest room tonight (on the floor or in the bed)
Ok so example on why I've been a lazy poster. I will think I of something dumb to post, like here's my thoughts today...
It's just been me and DD for the past 2 weeks because my nanny has been sick and H out of town. The nanny is back today and I worked out, got a mani/pedi (I got hot pink, idk why, but it made me happy) went to target, did some errands. Feels so good to be away for a bit! But, I have to admit, I got all of the feels when I said bye to DD! Like I was leaving her going back from maternity leave. I'm actually thinking of decreasing nanny hours, I had a lot of fun with DD and I found that she will sit in her stroller while I work out. (I was shocked)
But then I think, nothing exciting over here, and I'm like, nobody cares, and then don't post anything. :/ that's what's going on

PM me if you have any questions, this was me-I hate to say it, but she never flipped :/ and I did EVERYTHING. I have heard that the odds of a version working for the second pregnancy are higher!

Max was always head down and then at like 36/37 weeks he flipped. I was scheduled for version and the night before my doula had me do some of the stuff on Spinningbabies and when I went for my version he had gone head down again! Give it a shot. I laid inverted on a board with frozen veggies where his head was and a hot pad where his feet were. I did some other stuff too, but laying inverted is the one I remember most.
