1. So flipping tired today. 2. Work is stressing me out - 6 weeks to go before leave and so much to do. 3. Even though the above is true, I find I'm not at productive these days, distracted and just trying to stay upright. 4. True confession: I'm watching the Bachelor New Zealand because I miss NZ (we spent three weeks there last year), and I love the accents and scenery. It's like reliving our trip. *chastises self* Bad feminist! 5. Our cat has been more protective lately. She's usually a scaredy cat but now if another cat is outside she'll bat at the window and try and scare it away. 6. I'm ready for consistently warm weather - I think I'll feel better when this ice-stormy, end of winter is done. 7. I love being outdoors but am a weather-wimp. 8. I've been getting back into photography, but should also be playing guitar more. 9. I should stop "should-ing" myself. 10. Looking at real estate listings is a fun hobby.

Okay so it's 9:22 and I'm gonna get my TTT done dammit! 1. H is getting mighty aggressive. She's pinching and hitting and it's not cute. I know it's a phase but man...she hurts! 2. My parents and my brother were in town this weekend for Easter. It was a really fun weekend! 3. My brother is getting a divorce. He hasn't been married 2 years but he moved into his new place on Sunday. I'm sad for him but SO glad it's happening (she is not a good person). 4. Work has been busy and it's getting so hard. I'm ALWAYS tired and we are really building up the company and that can be so exhausting!!! 5. Because I'm a total idiot I also got another job. I'll be working with au pairs and host families. It won't be a ton of work but it's going to be fun. The training is tiring and I am supposed to be finished by Friday...yikes. 6. We are 13 weeks...it's so crazy!!! Tomorrow we have another appointment and will get to hear the heartbeat...yay! 7. I'm doing some protein test for the MWs and I have had to collect all my pee in a jar all day...it's been weird. 8. My niece H is going to full day preschool next year. I've been watching her since she was 6 months. I know she needs to grow up but I am heartbroken. 9. I am so proud of C! He finally took the steps to tell his parents he is transitioning today. Such a brave step. 10. I need new shows to watch...I feel like we've watched about everything.
2. Had our 20 week ultrasound today. Everything looked awesome, except there's these little brain cysts. They are almost certainly nothing, but we'll probably do a level 2 US to be sure.
3. Baby was so sweet and sleepy on the ultrasound. I can't wait to meet him.
4. Time for us to start thinking about daycare!
5. I'm so hungry all of a sudden.
6. Tomorrow is nacho day in the cafeteria. Yum.
7. Crap, we need to go check our mail tomorrow. Our lease is up in a few months and I need to see if they've told us our rent is going up.
8. Our 17 year old cat keeps making a weird wheezing noise. Make her stop it.
9. I saw a woman almost exactly as pregnant as me today. She was so cute and perfect and "popped." I just look sort of fat and spread out. :-(. Jealous.
Me: 31 Wife: 30. Legally married 2008, thanks CA! TTC #1 since 11/14 using donor sperm. IUIs Jan-Aug 2015 BFN Sept & OCT 2015 added Femara. BFN Saw RE December 2015. IUI with Clomid & Trigger Jan 2016 BFN IUI #13 with Follistim April 2016 BFFN IVF #1 July 2016. 14R, 10F, 6 Day 5 embryos. 4 PGS normal embabies!
1. JustJudy, we watched Spy the weekend before last with my in laws. We had seen it before but it's definitely good enough to re-watch
2. Ellis is 7.5 months old. Where does the time go?
3. Being back at work is going well and my partner is enjoying her parental leave.
4. I'm TTTing on the bus ride to the subway right now.
5. I might have to start getting up earlier to get more done in the morning. Currently, I get up about 6:30 and shower and get dressed and then I get E up between 7 and 7:10 and feed her. Then I leave about 7:30. But I would like to be more helpful in the morning by taking the dog out.
6. E is learning some new set of skills. For four days now, she has been working on turning her wrists back and forth, moving them in circles, and opening and closing her fists. She started doing it when holding a toy and now she also does it when her hands are empty.
7. I need new shoes. But I have huge feet 13w men's and so I almost always have to order my shoes online which sucks
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
2. I think I am getting over my cold. I felt miserable yesterday. I probably shouldn't have been at work, but it was my first day back in over a week and I had a TON to do...
3. I have been having weird work related dreams. Several dreams about me leaving my current job and lots of anxiety/stress about it. I have no plans to leave my job, so I don't know what that is about.
4. Free lunch today. We are having a meeting with a speaker who is bringing lunch. Whooo hooo!
5. Science fair projects finish up this weekend! They are due Monday. Thankfully, L has project managed it (part of what she does for a living) so there hopefully won't be a big last minute crunch and they won't have to spend all weekend doing it (which is good because we have a full weekend planned.)
6. We need to plan a vacation for June (we have SW vouchers that are going to expire July 1.) Not sure how that will work with G being on the swim team..
7. L also wants us all to go to TN for her father's 75th birthday party this summer.
8. Despite sleeping really well last night, I am still sleepy.
9. I love it being light out later at night...but I am ready for it to be light when I get up. It is much easier to get up when it is light outside.
10. Anyone else on Queer Mamas* on FB? It is now my guilty reading pleasure.

I just typed up a long thorough 10 (well, I was on 9), and the whole thing got erased before I could post it. I don't have time to redo it now, but the key takeaways .... Life is crazy busy, I go back to work on Monday, home inspection of the new house went well, I am meeting with the church next door tonight at 7pm about them buying our current house, Lucie's 2 month pedi appointment is tomorrow, I have a situation with my family (it is parenting related) that I need advice on, but I don't have time to type it all out. I might start a new thread in a couple of days and explain the situation...

1. bexincanada, your #9 is a lesson it has taken me decades to learn and one of the life-lessons I am desperately trying to figure out how I can help little S learn as she gets older.
2. JustJudy, We like McCarthy too. What do you think of 'the Heat'?
3. Wow, our toddler is so strong! I'm not weak - I haul delivery cages alone at work and anyone who's seen what they do with the alcohol cages these days will know that's no mean feat for a woman of 5'2. If she's in my arms when she hits full tantrum, I struggle to hold on long enough to put her down safely.
4. A finds it funny when I say baby's half my size. I only exaggerate slightly. With her head on my shoulder, her toes are just inches from my knees - And there's nothing funny about it (see previous note) Besides which, A is only an inch taller than me.
5. I've now decided A will handle little S when she gets to the boisterous age.
6. A also points out I still sometimes call S 'baby.' She's 14mo - she ::is:: a baby! I figure it will be the same as with my youngest brother - there will just come a day when I realise I haven't called her baby in a long time.
7. I'm doing better with TTT than I usually do. Half the time, I try to compose an entry in my head and at some point, it turns into a shopping list.
8. My back is in two! I don't know if this has anything to do with Co-sleeping with a sick toddler but I don't recommend it.
9. Little S is now enrolled in baby ballet from September. She's so into music and dancing, we thought we'd encourage her. Plus it's something active that may help to wear her out, lol. And I think I may cope better with a structured activity.
10. I've finished my book and now I have to decide what to read next. Too hard! Want to read all of them!

That's all I have time for at the moment...
So much happening. I love this group because we can bounce things off each other. Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings!
1. 2brides Not on Queer Mamas.....this is the first I've heard of it. I'll check it out though.
2. I kind of want to reactivate our gym membership but I'm not sure how M would do in childcare. This week she will be 9 weeks and while she is more content playing on her activity mat, she still needs some oversight/entertaining and her max is usually 25 minutes or so. The childcare takes babies as young as 6 weeks.
3. I woke M up at 8 this morning. That means I showered/dried my hair, emptied the dishwasher, made CET's lunch, checked my work email, and did a 20 minute arm circuit all before getting her. I love getting so much done in the morning. I can't always count on much time during the day. Edited- she woke up at 8:40 today. Got a lot done again!
4. I'm currently feeding M. Next up play time and maybe a nap. Edited- Feeding M but next up may be play time and a walk.
5. I bought some fish at Costco and it's much better tasting than my usual Whole Foods fish. Consistently less fishy tasting.
6. Finishing this up on Thursday.
7. CET has a pretty busy week at work so I don't think she will have time to do her 5.
8. I almost never drive my car. Haven't driven it since Sunday. Luckily we live in an area where you can walk to coffee shops and restaurants.
9. Trying to find an activity for M and I. Thinking music, story time, or mama and baby yoga. But I'm not sure if she seems kind of young.
10. Has anyone else noticed how long babies can go without blinking?

I am on the Queer Mamas* FB group also. I have yet to post or comment on anything, but I read about 25% of what is posted when I have time. Some of it is interesting, a lot of it is ridiculous, a bit of it is helpful. I have mixed feelings about it overall and don't plan to post there anytime soon, but will probably continue to read periodically.
