DS randomly lies down on the floor like he's going to sleep and stays there for about a minute before getting right back up. If you lie down next to him, he laughs and tries to climb onto your back.
Another weird one that the Ferber sleep training book warned about is head butting the crib. How does it not hurt him? The sound of it is awful and he'll do it whether I'm in the room trying to soothe him or if he's by himself.
If anyone has successfully gotten their kid to stop slamming their head into the end of their kid, I'd love to know how you did it.
He's over crawling but refuses to stand up and walk (even though he'll take a step or two sometimes), so instead he sits up and shuffles forward on his knees. Knee walking. It's all the rage.

We have a knee walker over here too. And sometimes she crawls while trying to hold something in one hand and we call her "zombie baby" (bc it's like this lopsided, odd movement).
For a while he loved "hiding" toys. He'd get your attention and then dangle a toy over one shoulder behind his head/back and wait until you said "where's [the toy]?" before triumphantly pulling it in front of him and giggling.
The weird part was watching him try to crawl with a toy behind his head if he hadn't gotten your attention, or if he was trying to go get someone else's attention.

I already shared her weird carrying socks around in her neck thing which is by far the weirdest thing she does.
kartish DD will put things on her head too. This weekend in church she was pulling at my hair trying to put it on her head so that it kind of looked like she had a wig on.
She is also obsessed with dogs, she yells and waves whenever she sees a dog - when we are out for a walk, through the window, even on the tv. No waving to people, just to dogs.
F has started doing the hands to the face thing from Home Alone. I have NO IDEA where he picked that up from.
Ha! Celia does this too but with her hands over her eyes or on her forehead. Except I know exactly where she got it from....her momma lol.
Also, if she's snacking on something while she's playing, she'll tilt her head down, open her mouth, and let all the food she's chewing fall out. And I know it's not because she doesn't like it. What are you doing kid?!
