I thought this might be a fun thread today! I was cracking myself up trying to put shoes on this morning and it popped into my head.

AFM... you know you're approaching your third trimester when... putting on shoes with an ankle strap becomes an olympic sport!

I had a serious conversation with H the other day about him helping me shave my legs and paint my toes pretty soon.

Its either that or pay the extra money to get a wax and a pedicure regularly.

LOL! I was thinking this same thing as I smooshed my belly trying to tie my shoes this morning.

Same goes for leg shaving--slowing becoming not an option.

I almost couldn't shave my legs last night in the tub, and can't clip my toenails anymore. I've started knocking things off tables with my belly.

Everything gives me heartburn eventually but my biggest trigger is bananas of all things. I think I'm just done with bananas until August.

You know it's almost 3rd trimester when:

you require a snoogle and three pillows to find a position acceptable for sleeping.

Shoe laces are a recipe for heartburn and feeling pukey.

Being away from toilet access for more than twenty minutes is not an option.

You've had your first sniss.

Your baby's movements sometimes feel like violent tap dancing and it's hard to remember those first little bubbles of movement.

You can get out of breath climbing one staircase.

You know you're approaching third tri when:

You don't fit in places you used to fit (like squeezing by two people in the staff room).

You groom your nether regions soley based on feel because you can no longer see them (or you give up on grooming at all!)

You can't survive without your maternity support belt.

A 20-minute walk with the dog feels as exhausting as climbing Mount Everest.

I said mine yesterday in the check-in, but when you decide whether or not it's worth it to pick something up you've dropped. Do I want to struggle to breathe for 15 minutes after or can I just leave it for someone else to pick up? Haha, I feel like it's too early for this though!

I have said this to my H also!  With a summer pregnancy we don't get to chose whether or not to do these things, that was the one nice thing about being pregnant during the winter last time.

+1 to the asking H for help shaving the downstairs area because you can't see below the belly...and I've been dealing with "snissing" (I love that word haha) for a couple months now, but it's gotten worse haha!

You know you're approaching 3rd tri when:

*You check your belly button every day to see if it's popped yet
*The maternity pants you bought at the beginning of the bump are starting to get too tight/you need to buy a bigger size

I never had any bladder control problems with my first two. I haven't snissed but I have peed on myself while puking before. Fun times

I've had 2 full-term pregnancies and never snissed. I have tinkled a little from laughing too hard while pregnant once.
