Congrats to everyone on the great scans!
annapunkalunka super cute announcement! Also, I know exactly how you're feeling. I was bummed at first too. And names have been really hard for us as well. Life twins! Lol
My A/S showed a healthy baby who was curled up in a ball and really wanted to stay that way. I was there an hour and fifteen minutes because baby was being so stubborn! They had me try using the bathroom, walking around, and even jumping to get the baby to uncurl but to no avail. Thankfully, another tech was able to come in and get the images they needed. They said everything looked good We are still team green!
Me: 28, all tests normal DH: 34, very low count, motility, morphology DX - MFI 11/14/09 - Married 01/01/14 - TTC #1 01/06/15 - Started working with RE 04/06/15 - Recommendation - straight to IVF w/ICSI 09/04/15 - Started working with new RE Nov/Dec 15 - IVF w/ ICSI #1 - 11R/8F - 1 transferred, 3 frozen
I went in for mine on 4/12. They didn't find any issues, but they couldn't get more than half the measurements. The whole thing was super grainy and much harder to see than my 12 week scan. At least we could see her move around and know that she's ok. Having another scan at my 24 week appointment, hopefully it'll go smoothly.
I wanted to share that after my DS 20 week ultrasound someone suggested I should have drank juice to make sure he was awake and moving. Just a thought especially for those who are not team green ;-)
We are team pink!!! I couldn't be happier!! Sorry if it's huge. Baby did not want to cooperate at first so they had me come back after 30 minutes. It worked lol On another not they did see possible fluid around the heart and want me to come back in 5 weeks. The Dr said it usually resolves itself but I'm still a little worried. Everything else looked great!

I wouldn't go overboard on juice or at least check with your dr to get an OK. Too much movement can make it hard for them to get the pictures they need for the anatomy scan. And it's much more important that they get to check out all the structural stuff than it is to get a shot of your baby's genitals.
For sure, you also want to avoid to have a baby in a ball.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Is it supposed to be sarcasm?
Not at all. My DS didn't really moved during the ultrasound and she made me go walk a little because she couldn't see everything to take the measurements. I was just saying that a bit of movement is usually welcomed to see all that they have to see.
We had a great anatomy scan today. Our girls are already silly. My cervix is still holding strong so fingers crossed it continues to do good and we won't need bed rest.
Baby A has a two vessel cord and is one ounce smaller than B. We have been referred to a specialist just to make sure we don't need any further testing. Other than that, both hearts, brains, spines, and organs are all perfectly healthy. Without further ado here are my sweat peas.
**Disclaimer - I've written down as many A/S dates as I've come across on our board. I'm really sorry if I miss anyone with my Good Luck posts!! I'm not excluding you, I just didn't catch the date of your scan ahead of time. Just wanted to say something so people didn't think I was forgetting about them if I missed you!

1) When are you due? September 7th
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? Just got called today that there's a separation with the placenta. So yes, I will have a follow up u/s and I'm trying not to freak out. Everything else looked good.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? I'm having another girl! Yay! Financially this is great since DD is 16 months so hand me downs will be awesome.
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)? No, this is what I was hoping for (for financial reasons because we have girl stuff already, my boy stuff is 12 years old and not easily accessable). My son was disappointed though he so wants a brother.
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? Umm... as I was praying over my baby an hour ago (right after the call from the doc) the name Abigail came to me. Nothing is set of course, but I'll talk to DH about it later.

LT for support. Hopefully all is well with your placenta.
