2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s?
They got everything even though she was a bit stubborn! Bad news is she is measuring small, DS measured small too and needed an additional growth scan at 37 weeks. But then she also has two small cysts on either side of the "non thinking" portion of her brain. The lady was reassuring and said that she sees them everyday and that they usually go away. Also, it was good that both my blood work screenings- first and second tri, came back negative. So I'm worried but trying not to worry, if that makes sense! We will go back in a month.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? It's still a girl!!
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)? No, the opposite, we are so excited to have a girl!
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? We are still debating our options
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? I'm going to be so anxious for the next month luckily I'll see my OB on Wednesday to talk about all of this.

I'm tagging my IRL friend ginabini here because she's due in July and her daughter had a cyst on her brain at her anatomy scan too. She recently had a follow-up u/s and it was gone like her dr told her it most likely would. I'm sure she wouldn't mind questions if you had any.
danizee sorry you're in waiting limbo. I'm going through the same thing (different health issue) if you ever want to chat. Even though they say 'it's almost always nothing' I know it's so hard not to worry!

Hi there danizee! I'm currently 31 weeks, and when I went for my anatomy scan my little girl had a Choroid plexus cyst on her brain. The doctor explained to me that it was the part of her brain that makes spinal fluid, so during the formation of the brain sometimes fluid gets trapped in there but that it usually goes away on its own by 28 weeks. He also said that even if it doesn't go away, they VERY rarely cause any problems. (My mom used to work in OB, and the doctor she worked with told me she's been in the practice for 20-something years and had never seen one become or cause any issues). I went back for a scan at 28 weeks and, sure enough, it was gone! You obviously never want anything but a perfect scan, but if its the same thing I would try not to worry! Hope that helps!

So glad you had a good scan @merryissmas!
danizee hopefully everything is great when you go back next month. Waiting and wondering are tough. What helped me during my waiting period was just focusing on and enjoying every movement I felt. It made me feel like everything was going to be ok.
Good luck tomorrow Daikoku !! (I'll be traveling and didn't want to forget you!)
Thank you!
I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I've been really struggling with being pregnant (mentally). I do miss you all and hope to be able to jump back in soon. I have a feeling I have a lot of catching up to do!

You certainly don't have to apologize!! Pregnancy can be really tough! We're always here if you need people to vent to!!

1) When are you due? Sept 17th
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? Yes - all measurements were taken. We had a Level II with a cardiologist focus. All was good.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? We have it in an envelope - our plan is not to open it and give it to my parents when they go out west a few days before the Csection. I'm tempted though. VERY tempted.
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)?
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? We talked names a bit while we were waiting for doctor #3 to take a look yesterday. Right now it looks like Paige Frances or Leo John
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? Yesterday was horrible. I probably cried 30 times. I never realize how much I hate u/s until the day is there. I even tried to cancel it yesterday. Once you have had a bad u/s - it ruins it for all future ones. But, all was well and we are good to go. I ugly cried when she told me that, she felt so bad. I was so relieved and couldn't hold it in any longer. Life is a miracle and we are blessed.
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? I think they got everything. I'm sure I'll be hearing from my midwife if we need any follow up.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? A GIRL!!!
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)? Im excited. I had a feeling it was a girl. I was adamant with my first pregnancy I didn't want a girl, but this time I was secretly hoping for one.
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? We have nothing picked out yet. We have two criteria: must be a double letter and must have an irish or scottish origin.

Hey ladies - do we want to un-sticky this now? I think we've all had our a/s by now and even follow-ups for those who needed one. Shall we knock one sticky off the top of the board?

Good idea. No reason to clog uo the top of the board without need. In just a few months we'll need a birth announcement thread up there (!!)
I'm feeling blah about follow up ultrasound (after anatomy scan). Her cysts went away (yay) but she is still measuring small. The tech seemed to focus a lot of something at the end and I meant to ask about it but I kind of got rushed out of there by the nurse ( or at least it seemed like it to me). So I have a follow up appointment in two weeks. Apparently it's a test that will look at blood flow in cord? Something like that. Then another growth scan in four weeks. The results of today get sent to my OB because all this testing is getting done with an MFM. I have an appointment this week with her so I'm sure all of my questions will be answered then. She wasn't concerned at all about her size last month because she was at 18th percentile. Today she is at 17th and her stomach at 13. I guess I'm just worried they might have found something more today and want the Dr to tell me. Sigh...oh and depending on what my OB says they would normally recommend me starting NSTs in two weeks.

Sorry to hear it was a mixed appointment danizee. Glad to hear the cysts are gone at least. Hopefully you get good news at your appointment with the MFM that there's nothing to worry about.
danizee, I'm sorry about the so so ultrasound. I had an ultrasound on Friday to look at the blood flow because they're trying to figure out if I'm going to have pre-eclampsia again. It's basically looking at how the circulation is with each heartbeats. It's pretty neat actually. I hope you'll have answers soon.
That's really annoying they're making you wait danizee. I was so nervous for my follow-up but the nice part was the doctor met with you immediately following the ultrasound. Hang in there Mama.
