1) When are you due? 9/22
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? Baby looks great! I have a low lying placenta, so they will do another u/s at 26wks to see if it's moved. It wasn't over my cervix, but closer than they'd like.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? We found out through the genetic testing that we're having a boy. However DH wasn't totally convinced until he saw the goods on the screen, so now it's officially official lol
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)? When I found out at first I was bummed I wouldn't get a little girl since we're through after two. But I'm over it and happy that I'll have brothers and so much less stuff to get.
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? Still undecided on a name. Boy names are hard! We have one we like but I'm open to finding another. I prefer to choose a name before going to the hospital.
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? I just hope that my placenta moves up with my uterus bc I don't want a c-section, if at all possible.
serendipity731 I had a low lying with DS. Moved up I think by 28-32 weeks! I can't remember exactly because I had an ultrasound at both. Hope yours does the same and moves up in no time!
Ugh sorry the dr kinda ruined what was a good appointment for you unringthebell . That's so stupid of him to ask if you want an amnio when there's nothing indicating anything is wrong. I hope you can grasp onto the fact that your maternit21 results were good and the scan today looked good and that PGAL/PAIF brain will settle back down.
And I hope YH goes for your name. Margot is beautiful.

Congratulations on a healthy girl, unringthebell. I wish your doctor hadn't even offered an amnio. What's the point? Why would you want to go through an unnecessary procedure that comes with its own risks? I hope they are able to get the rest of the photos they need in 4 weeks.
Also, I LOVE your name choice. It's a lovely, classic name that is very underused.
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? We got all of the measurements and OB said she's perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better scan.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? We already knew we are having a girl. When we found out, we were shocked because I was CONVINCED we were having a boy.
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment (This is a safe space - it's totally normal to feel a range of emotions when it comes to joining a team)? No disappointment at all. Just had to change our way of thinking. I was already looking at boy nurseries. LOL!
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? We have some in mind...
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? I'll post a follow up from tapatalk with a picture. Tech was laughing because she was so active! She was wiggling all around.
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Any concerns or does all look good? Will you need a follow up u/s? Everything looked great! I'm so relieved. Our tech was wonderful and went through all my concerns one by one. No spina bifida, no indicators of DS, etc. When we got to the heart, she exclaimed, "Perfect!" She said we could come back anytime ;-)
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? Nope, we're Team Green.
5) What's your name strategy? Do you have a name set in stone? Or one of each set in stone if you're Team Green? Taking a few to the hospital? Not ready to pick yet? Baby will be either Jonah or Autumn. We like having names set in stone; I think my pp emotions are too wacky for me to reliably choose a name for my kid in the hospital.
Congrats on the great scan! And I love your name choices.
sodapop with DD they weren't able to get all the heart measurements because she was moving around too much. I had half a cup of half caff iced coffee that morning, the u/s made sure to tell me how bad coffee is for the baby and made sure I knew she was irritated. (Omg it was half a cup of half caff!)
Anywho, hope it doesn't take too long for your boy to get used to the idea of a brother. My son is having a similar reaction to this one being a girl (he so wants a brother).

Your u/s tech can shove it. She'd hate me and my mug of full-caff coffee that I still have every day.

It was just after lunch and I had a bit of lemonade before. I'm going at 9 next time so I'll eat early and hope he's all calm, lol.
My son is coming around. I pointed to him that Peppa Pig had a little brother and he kinda went with it. I hope your son comes around.

2) Were they able to get all the measurements? All looked great! At least the tech didn't tell us if there were any concerns. Baby was moving like crazy and had hands up by its face most of the time.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? Another girl!!
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment? I think I went into it realizing that I would have excitement and disappointment either way. I would love to experience a boy but I was also really wanted DD to get a sister. Since we're probably done at 2 I realized I couldn't have both
5) What's your name strategy? Still discussing. I love Willow but H is not sold.
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? We bought confetti reveal poppers at Party City right after the appointment. I'm so excited to tell my family tomorrow.
2) Were they able to get all the measurements? Yes they were able to get all the measurements...the doctor was really thorough in pointing out what we were seeing and reassuring us. It was such a great appointment.
3) If you found out the baby's (or babies') sex, what are you having? We are having another girl! We were both shocked but so happy
4) If you found out, did you have any sex disappointment? No disappointment here! We are *hopefully* having 3 kids...so I'm glad my little will have a sister. I had all brothers so it's something that I was wishing for her!
5) What's your name strategy? I have a million girl names that I love...for now my top choice is Da.phne J.ane
6) Any AWs/comments/questions? Nope just so relieved. Finally feeling like we will be bringing home a baby in September!!
