melody330 I just started getting back into it! I think the new guy seems nice, it's Meredith that's a nut job (at least based off last night's episode). I don't think she's ready to get into another relationship yet, which is completely understandable given all she's been through.
I know, Mer is so so broken. I'm only a few minutes into the episode....but how is Sophia so big??? How many years has it been???
I mean, I am really only watching at this point because of Karev and I can't quit him. But damn do I hate Meredith. I always have, she's always been my least favorite character but at least with Christina and Derek around she was more tolerable. While I feel for her, probably relate more than most at this point since I just lost my husband, I just do not CARE about her shit anymore. She is the least likable, most self centered person on this show and I'm over it. Too bad her name is on the show title, lol.
I'm also irritated at the new development with Jackson and April. The pregnancy storyline is bad enough but now Catherine is going off the deep end with this stupid lawsuit. If Jackson goes along with it, he will no longer be my 2nd favorite.

tikoberry99, I was measuring off and on "ahead" or "larger" with DD. I have found that most of the time, they are off on the measurements. At 40 weeks, they were measuring her around 7 pounds (after going up and down my whole pregnancy), and she came out a week later at over 9 pounds. My friends son was measuring at over 8 pounds, she delivered three days later and he was only 6 pounds 12 ounces. My other friend was measuring big her whole pregnancy, and they scheduled a c-section just because they said that the baby was going to be big. He was born on his due date and was only 8 pound 5 ounces. I would take everything they say about size, and let a majority of it go in one ear and out the other.
melody330 , Sophia was born in May 2011, so that would make her almost 5. Daaaannnnnggg. I guess because we don't hardly see her on there, it is easy to think that she should be like 2-3 years old.
I took the test and it said I would likely go 3 days early on July 22. I don't mind that, ha. I'm scared of being super "late" since my mom was 2 weeks late with all three of us. I like the idea of a July baby vs August for no rational reason at all too, lol.

Dh just played a horrible Aprils Fool joke on me.
He sent me an email this morning that I got as I was walking into gymnastics. He said that his boss wants him on this team to look at perspective suppliers. They would go to India or China for 3 or 4 weeks in Sept.
I was panicking!!! Dd would only be 2 months!!
Then after I finally responded after lunch, he tells me April fools. Grrrrrr

I just polished off a pack of peanut M&M's. It said "Celebrating 75 Years" on the front of the package, so I considered that helping them celebrate....by eating some.
I brought my nanny kids to the park to play. I ended up walking while they rode their scooters for 1/2mi and then they played on the playground, and then all three of us walked another 1/4mi. We were there for two hours, and the kids were WIPED OUT! By the time we made it back to the house and had lunch, they were barely moving, so they went down for an early nap. I have SPD...so now my pelvis is KILLING me. I fully intend on surfing the web for a little bit, and then taking a short nap on the couch for awhile while they are sleeping.
tootsie yep, every now and then my tailbone will kill me. It usually pops up out of the blue but I'll notice it starting when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee. It usually only hurts when I bend over/sit down, I talked to my doctor about it and she said it was most likely a pinched nerve. If it gets really bad I'll do a couple yoga moves (cat/cow and I think childs pose?) and those seem to help a little bit!
Ugh good luck melody330. This girl sounds like a piece of work.
katelou, I have no problem texting/emailing someone to make sure they got a present I sent them if I don't get a thank you several months later. I don't think it's rude at all. I'm big on thank you notes for big events and get super annoyed when people don't write them in a timely fashion.
I have another random question. I had a student teach this fall, and she was terrible. Never did less plans, did not prep anything ahead of time, was constantly on her phone. She did a horrible lesson for an observation for my principal and then lied to him and told him I planned the whole thing for her.
All that to say, she now wants a letter of recommendation. I really really don't want to write her one. What do I do? Most people seem to think I should write a short one that isn't glowing just neutral. I don't even think she deserves that.
I wouldn't write her one. If she wanted a nice recommendation she should have done a decent job teaching!
@tikoberry99 my DS was 9 pounds 13 oz at birth. My doctor never even mentioned he thought he'd be big and my stomach was measuring on track. DS was almost a week late too though. My sister had a 10 pound baby and the doctor mentioned her baby might be big but there's really no way of knowing. I know with both babies there was concern of something after birth and they had to get more blood drawn but I can't think of what it was and they both ended up being fine.
FFFC: I've been shit st taking my prenatals. I think I've taken 80 vitamins this entire time.
I barely took any the first half of my pregnancy because of the morning sickness. I would gag when I had one in my hand. I felt the mom guilt then but I'm over it now, lol.
I made a huge batch of freezer breakfast burritos and I'm so excited to eat one tomorrow morning.
Does anyone know how to clean a top loading washer? Mine has this nasty smell to it and I can't figure out where it's coming from. How the heck does a washer smell. I'm so confused.

Do you close the lid after you take wet clothes out? I always make sure mine is open until it's all dry. That can cause a funky smell.
But other than googling some ideas, I have no idea how to clean it. Sorry!

My mom was almost two weeks late with all three of us as well, and my DS came a week early. It's a crap shoot!
My anecdote to the birth weight estimates: I had an ultrasound less than 24 hours before J was born and their weight estimate was over by almost a whole pound.

I also leave the top open for a bit when mine smells, and it always does the trick. I wipe mine down with a Lysol wipe when there's gunk in there (hello toddler and pets!). Tide makes a washing machine cleaner that you put in and run an empty cycle, that might help. But I would start with just leaving the lid open overnight.
