I never have a good FFFC so I thought I'd start a Randoms. Last night was the worst night DD has had in a long time. She went down for bed fine then was up within 30 mins screaming her head off. It had to be teething, no fever but screaming in pain. All I knew to do was give her some Tylenol and comfort her and give a cold teething ring, but she was a crying/sobbing mess for an hour. Mommas with teething babes, what do you do? I think I remember someone saying they used infants Motrin instead.

vlagroupie Yuck! I am so sorry. I'm not help with the teething since my LO still hasn't sprouted any. But I'm sure there are some pros on our board to offer some advice.
I'm still having a little bit of a rough time with my friend's passing. Don't wanna bring the mood down in here. But, I thought I was okay last night. Then I got up this morning and continued to see people's posts on Facebook honoring him. I bawled. Man, life is short. Totally reminds me to live life to the fullest and not worry about the little things, which I have a very bad habit of doing. I hugged DH and DD a lot extra last night and this morning.

ladytiffany24 I'm sooo sorry. {{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}} We're here for you if you need anything.
vlagroupie That sounds like are teething nights. We usually do Tylenol, but only because I can never remember the right dose for Motrin and I'm too lazy too look it up. Our pedi told us that Motrin usually lasts a little longer and that is the big benefit.
AFM- I'm not feeling well. When I got to the right floor at work, I could smell popcorn the entire walk to my desk, I thought I was going to vomit. It's 8am people, go get a proper breakfast, popcorn is not acceptable.
vlagroupie - +1 for the Motrin. If it's really bad you can actually alternate/overlap giving it with Tylenol. Since they are two different drugs, you don't have to worry about giving too much. I think the Motrin dose is on the side of the bottle. I hate that Tylenol doesn't do the same thing. I have to keep a sheet the doctor gave me or I got somewhere from our BMB to look up the weight ranges.
Teething is so awful, I actually started crying along with DD because she had the most pathetic, sad cry. Will pick up some Motrin today hoping we don't have another crazy night but must be prepared.
mrscatfarmer13 my DH eats nasty stuff for breakfast, he's always like "why are there rules for breakfast?!?!", uh leftover Indian for breakfast is pretty nasty.

vlagroupie - I use Infants Advil. It does seem to work faster and last longer than Infants Tylenol. Dosage is on the side of the box. Once I'm positive babe is teething, I hit him with the Advil before bed, before he even has a chance to wake up screaming. During the day anything he can gnaw on works, and I use teething necklaces.
Everyone should go to your privacy settings and check to see if you like them. I just discovered the default is to share your email address and I changed mine so it only shows to PB staff. The same if you don't want your birthday listed. There's some other stuff there too.
