Spring is here which means allergy season is right around the corner. I normally take a Zyrtec daily to manage any indoor/outdoor allergy symptoms. I stopped taking it until I can confirm it is okay (class B). I honestly can't remember so I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry.
What tips do you have to help manage your allergy symptoms?

Claritin FTW. I have very severe food allergies that increase when my seasonal allergies kick in so I can't not take something.
Also, class Bs are fine. Class Bs have no evidence of risk during pregnancy in humans. Zyrtec is on my list of okayed drugs that my OB practice gives out at pregnancy confirmation appts.

Yesssss to the netipot tgrimes1980! It's a lifesaver for my sinuses. I have lots of feels on allergies. There's so much we can't take and can't do while pregnant that we shouldn't have to suffer through the things that could me helped somewhat with safe meds.
Thanks sophiegrace & tgrimes1980. I'm starting my Zyrtec first thing tomorrow. I've always been a little nervous about the netipot but I know plenty of people that swear by them.
Neti pot is the best. It is weird at first. A few years ago the recommended using boiled water, I won't go into the details, but if water quality is a concern, may want to do that or use bottled.
I use it for sinus infections, I just seem to have itchy eyes these season, they change every year.
I hear you girl!! I have every allergy - pets, dander, dust, mildew, mold, plants, perfumes, gas smell, etc (plus asthma). I also have a weird, rare condition called "food dependent exercise induced anaphylaxis". I can't eat and then work out within a couple hours of each other or I get a severe allergic reaction and need my epi-pen. For this reason, I take a daily medicine called levocetirizine. It is a Class B drug in the Zyrtec family line. My allergist, RE, and OB cleared this as absolutely no issue and said Class Bs are not a problem - Zyrtec, Claritin etc.
