Sunday is thankfully a better day for me than yesterday. I spent 5 hours last night at the ER to get fluids and stop the stomach flu that was leaving me severely dehydrated (I threw up about a dozen times). I knew if I couldn't hydrate orally, I needed an IV. I would normally suck it up but with Turkey depending on me for nutrition, I couldn't let myself stay dehydrated like that. It was miserably uncomfortable, and apparently I also have an unrelated UTI based on the tests they ran.
Thankfully much less nauseous today. Still achey and crampy from being sick so many times, but seemingly on the mend.
However, DH now has it, poor bugger. Not quite as bad and he can take meds I couldn't like Pepto Bismol. And he doesn't have a baby depending on him.
Tomorrow is our first u/s! I hope DH feels better so we can enjoy the little day date we planned around the appointment.
No appointments for me till next week, but its snowing here (New England) so I'm not going very far. Was going to try a new church but with it being 30 minutes away , not risking it!
calindi - yikes! Glad you are hydrated, that sounds awful. Hope you and your h feel better soon.
It's unseasonably cold here today so probably laying low. My arm is aching from a botched blood draw on Thursday, like I can't fully extend it. I am using that as an excuse not to exercise, but probably still could go to the gym and just do cardio..

calindi wow! Glad you are on the mend! danib I am also home alone... When you do it a lot, it's not that exciting lol
No real plans today. Just going to take down the Easter decorations and do some cleaning/laundry. I do need some new flip flops. My only pair has a hole in the sole so I might venture out.

My inlaws flew in late last night, and they'll be here for a week, so I'm hoping to get some extra rest while they're here. I'm not sure if it will work out because LO is super clingy and doesn't really know them (they live across the country), so she might not cooperate with my need for naps. On the plus side, I've got my first appointment (with ultrasound) on Wednesday, and they'll watch the kids during that.
calindi I'm glad you went in. I hope you are feeling better today.
sophiegrace Ewww! I would put H on cleanup and blame morning sickness.
It is supposed to be almost 60 degrees today. We'll probably end up at the park at some point. We usually do Sunday Dinner with H's family. I'm guessing we'll grill tonight. Otherwise it will be the usual Sunday chores: laundry, grocery store, etc.

Have a good day, ladies!
I had my husband clean up dog throw up twice yesterday because I blamed MS. Could I have probably done it? Yes... Did I want to? No...
Oh no calindi :-( I'm glad to hear the IV helped!! sweetmelissa5 Hopefully you get some rest! Fatigue is definitely kicking back in here and even without a LO I'm struggling so I definitely have sympathy for those with fatigue or MS who are also chasing a baby/toddler. sophiegrace Lol. For the first two months we had our puppy every time we'd get home from work the kitchen (and the dog) was covered in diarrhea. ALL OVER. And that was despite mid day breaks. So much poop cleaning.
I don't want to get out of bed. I did for about an hour, long enough to make and eat pancakes, but now back in bed and don't want to move.
We got back from Portland late last night. It's 10am and I'm the only one awake. My niece's birthday party is today, it's at a bounce house so DS will have a lot of fun. That's about all we have planned for today. It looks like it's going to be another beautiful day here, this is so unusual this time of year, but I'll take it!
calindi, good gracious it sounds like you went through the wringer! So glad to hear you're on the mend. sophiegrace ugh that is awful
We're on the road heading home from NYC. I fell deeply asleep for the first hour of the trip, which was much needed; we covered nearly 8 miles on foot yesterday!
This morning we announced to my parents at brunch and in about an hour we'll be telling H's parents too Unfortunately we'll also be telling his siblings this afternoon since they're all there and we can't avoid it. I was hoping to wait a few more weeks to tell our siblings.

After two hours and many q-tips, toothpicks, baby wipes, and bleach, the roomba is alive and well. The rug, however, is tossed. I can laugh about it now and just appreciate it didn't happen on the bedroom carpet. At least I can say I accomplished something today?

Umm yes, you can definitely say you accomplished something today. The question is, did you vom at all?
Today was a pretty good day. Even if I tried to overdo it a bit.
I worked a 12 hour shift and then got home this morning at 6 and went to the grocery. We needed a few things because we were having friends over for lunch. I got about 2.5 hours of sleep! Ugh. But worth it. We had a really good time!!.
DH bought some mulch today to put in the garden bed out front. It looks a lot nicer. He went back out to buy a few more bags and I am enjoying silence and my bed.

kleigh I hope both your kitchen and pop are faring better by now. This girl has me so confused. We have everyone on a pretty strict schedule and some days she'll poop twice in an entire day and then others twice in and hour (plus quite a few more times as well). Same amount of food and treats at the same time each day so I'm not sure how to guess what she has to do and when. Hopefully as she matures her belly does as well.
