Agh I don't even need one. But I am racking my brain trying to think of a use for a new one. I have 10 wet bags in various sizes, 5 pail liners, and 2 trash can liners. And those are just my PW ones. I have 3 other wet bags in different brands. And many reusable snack bags. It's an addiction!
I just realized I have 2 more PW wet bags that I didn't include in my total above. What's wrong with me!?
Maple- I only have 1 snack bag and I don't use it much b/c it is tiny. But I do have several styles of the sandwich bags. The ones I like the most are the fabric zipper ones (not clear). They have a lot of space and are easy for both me and the kiddos to open. I have some specifically designated for food. But I also have several designated for misc. things like my DD#1 inhalers and meds. The ones I like the least are the velcro window bags. The window part can get discolored depending on what you put in it. And the velcro is harder for the girls to open without spilling. And with the flap they don't hold as much and are slightly more futzy to wash. I do like the angled corners for cleaning on all of them and that they are FDA food safe materials.
Thanks awful. I clicked the wetbag tab so that's why I didn't see it. I ordered one in Carrot. It will match L's carseat LOL.
chickypoo, if I hate it, I'll post it so you can tell me," I told you so".
When I wash mine, I take them out of the washer and hold it over the sink with the liner at the top and the fabric flipped down. Then I drain any water that got caught in the liner part and squeeze the fabric part. Then hang to dry with the liner at the top. The take longer to dry than my Kissas liners but still within a day (inside).
No. They're a pita to wash bc water gets stuck between the layers.
Do the layers not pull apart any more? I have one, and the pul inside just pulls out so I have to turn it right side in when I take it out of the dryer. Other than that, I love mine. I was thinking about picking up a few more!
Yes they do. Which is why I hate them, water is always stuck in there.
I have 2 pail liners that I just hang up by the bottom corners and they've always dried well before I need to switch them out and I leave hanging over my tub until I need it so I've never paid attention to how long it takes for one to dry.

chickypoo2468, what wet/dry bag do you like? I'm starting to finally CD outside the house on a regular basis and already see the advantage of another bag.

Honestly I mostly use alvas. I really like the minky ones, they seem extra heavy duty. My favs have been the itti bitti wetbags but they're pricey. But this way I can keep a bunch and toss a new one in the diaper bag whenever one gets used. I found once we were in toddler poop territory even my pricey wetbags couldn't contain the smell so I use a larger wet/dry bag to contain everything. I put the smaller wetbag and a changing mat in the big side and wipes and whatever in the smaller side.
