My bff just text me and made me cry. I thought it was dh since this is the time he'd usually text. It wasn't. And she was actually asking about him too. He went to a small town in mexico so I can call his house phone but there's no service so no daily texts or pics.
Also, I got elected president of the board for our town's summer celebration. I'm also taking 5 classes this summer to finish my degree up. Wtf was I thinking?!
I want to tell our girls I'm KU but I know they can't keep a secret and it's not fair to ask them to, but it's driving me crazy that they don't know.
Do you think they'll be happy? My cousins 6 yo had quite the adjustment. But she was an only child up until then. Big difference I'd think.
They've both been asking for a baby brother for over a year, so I think they'll be over the moon. DD1 is almost 7 so she is at an age where she can help much more than she could when DD2 was born and I think that excites her. I only foresee disappointment if baby is a girl, they both want a brother.
Yes - there are definitely a lot of unknowns when it comes to Zika. My RE basically said "don't go." So I listened.
Well, that's a relief!
That's another thing I have to ask my RE about. Once DH gets home, should he be tested for Zika? No sex for us until he gets tested? It's super hot where he's at so I'm sure plenty of mosquitoes. I hate to sound like a crazy person but is kissing ok? Zika freaks me out. I hope my RE has some confident answers or else DH will have a lonely 9 months!
Bloodwork. I think that's how it's abbreviated. I could've just said I'm getting my betas done.
Oh...duh. That's exciting. I still need to decide on a new doctor.
Is that a beer in your hand?! (avatar) LOL. I had a beer on Saturday night and I kept saying it tasted like feet. My dad was very perplexed. Little did I know.

I think he probably should get tested. I think there's an incubation period. But I have no idea about kissing!

Yes, make sure he is tested! I don't think the CDC is sure yet how long the virus can live in sperm.

I just got a call from work asking if I could pick up any hours tonight because it's apparently ridiculously busy. I said no and I don't even feel a tiny bit guilty about it. I worked all weekend and we were short staffed and our nursery was FULL! Much needed night off before I go back tomorrow.

The site says if he has no symptoms, condoms or abstinence for 8 weeks. I'm terrified of Zika!
Edit-zika not Zola
Also I think it's only by sperm, so kissing should be ok!
What city is your husband in littlelion? Im terrified about zika - and I live in a country where its pretty rampant! I use AC all the time to scare the mosquitoes away, and have been using tiny amounts of baby repellent to help scare them off... Did you know that in El Salvador they actually recommended women try not to get pregnant until 2018?!?! Thats a freaking neighboring country!!! I forgot my H also hs to be careful of the virus too.... Ugh this sucks! I go to my dr next friday. It feels sooooo far from now. This sucks!

EEEK! That would freak me out. Hopefully all is well with you. At least now we are somewhat informed about the connection between mosquitos, Zika and microcephaly. So scary.

He's outside of Iguala, Guerrero. It's very hot there at the moment too. The only good thing (?) is due to the violence in that area, people go home before dark and lock up. My first concern for him now is his safety. When he's home, we'll talk to the dr about testing.
I feel for you terribly though! There's plenty of other worries when you're pregnant, you don't need to be scared of a mosquito bite! Take care and keep bug free!
Day 2 of close. And I miss my coffee. I only allow myself one (big) cup in the morning. And it's a mix of decaf, reg and light.
Any one else having trouble sleeping? I knock out at 8 pm but wake up at 1 am to pee and then toss and turn. It's weird.
I'm in accounting too! I'm doing okay on the coffee. I think I like the habit of it more than the actual caffeine, so I do my normal coffee in the morning and then a decaf in the afternoon.
Are you a 12/31 year end? We are and I'm already nervous about telling my boss I'll be on maternity leave during the busiest time of the year. Especially if they figure out I did IVF and obviously knew that's how the timing would work out. Oh well, such is life.
After almost three years of TTC, IVF #1 = Menopur + Follistim + other stuff. Retrieved 14, 12 mature, 7 fertilized, only 1 (6AA) made it to day 5 blast. BFP! DD born 12-10-2016

[br I'm in bed by 9 and I usually wake up around 2:30 and go back to bed for a couple hours. I'm not sure if it's pregnancy or the fact that I've switched to decaf!
