Why is it that they will sleep and not be interested in eating when you are hanging out at home but when it's time to go they fuss and decide to eat a bunch?
Why is it that I am the only one who hears our kids when they wake up overnight? MH sleeps like a rock, while I wake up at the sound of them breathing differently.
I've literally had to push him several times to get him to wake up; and when he DOES wake up, he acts like he's drunk... no clue what I'm saying to him, no clue how to get out of bed, no clue who is awake (DD1, 2, or 3).
NO CLUE.
Add my husband to this club. Especially the acting drunk when he finally wakes up. So annoying!

The drunk upon waking MUST be a man thing - something I rarely say because qualifiers like that bug me... But my husband is the exact same... Incoherent when waking.

Add me to the drunk (and occasionally angry) H club.

Why is it that someone interrupts my pumping every single time?
Great story, MIL, but please let me pump! R, I can't hold you and pump at the same time! GDI, H, if the egging door is closed, keep it egging closed!!!

Why is it that one good day is inevitably followed by a challenging one? I'm struggling over here with little sleep, a cooped up toddler and overtired infant. Counting the minutes 'til H gets home.

Why is it that my kid barely slept last night. Or this morning. And screamed through her pedi appointment. And is now sleeping like an angel?
Do we have the same child? Literally word for word ... although my LO not only screamed at her appt, but spit up the most she's ever spit up... naturally.
My mother in law is supposed to be here helping but just sits on the couch all day while DH is at work. Ugh. I want to tell on her but that seems childish.

TELL ON HER.
Well, that didn't go as planned! Was called ungrateful for not appreciating the help. FUMING!!

What help? You said yourself she just sits on the couch. Fuck that bitch with big stick. Tell her you'll be appreciative when she actually starts helping!!!

I think DH talked to her. She's now doing laundry and watching baby while I shower and pump. Still awkward though. Actually looking forward having LO by myself next week. Ha.
