B is still asleep so I'm enjoying a nice cup of coffee while I wait for him to wake up. I'm headed to yoga in a couple hours. Tuesdays class kicks my butt so I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it. Not much on the game plan besides that.
DH may have called me and pretended to be daycare to get me to leave work early yesterday. We went home, ate a big brunch at a diner, took a 2 hour nap, had sex, then picked LO up from DC a little early. I needed that so much. Feeling very refreshed today, ready to double down on the workload again (after I finish my coffee that is).
DH and I are thinking about what we want next steps to look like for us - job plans, masters degrees maybe, moving, another kid? Not sure about any of it. Do you guys have a pretty good idea of your 5 year/10 year plan? DH and I are all over the place.
hola ladies! The only future plans for us is have baby #2, buy a bigger house and DH has a stable, well paying job. And those all had 1-2 yr deadlines. I'm glad to be done with school. I don't foresee that in my future. I'd like to pay off student loans before my kids go to college!
My week is super busy, starting today. And I have my first beta this morning! Work is going to love me. Going out for lunch, arrive and leaving on time during our busiest week. Suck it, work.
It's only day 2, but Leo pretty much hates DC. I hope he gets attached to one of his teachers or buddies soon.
My phone has been yelling at me that it's running out of space, so I finally dumped all my pics onto my computer. I swore after sorting through all our pics for lo's birthday I would be more organized, and instead I've only gotten lazier. Lol I hardly remember to delete the blurry/crappy pictures anymore. Oops.
My friend is on spring break this week so lo and I are going to hang out with her after nap. Looking forward to some adult time. The realtor comes back tonight with our price analysis, but I think we're going to hold off on listing until there's at least some houses to go look at. The only one I've seen that I've liked is too far out of our budget than dh is comfortable with.
BabyStandish what type of yoga class do you have on Tuesdays? Enjoy! bkmama0 haha sounds like an afternoon delight for sure! Our 5-10 year plan sounds a lot like yours. I'm meeting with an advisor later this month to discuss what it would take to finish my master's. We are definitely moving before we even think about TFAS. I need to think about when I want/need to go back to work. It's all a huge ass question mark! littlelion he'll settle into dc. It just takes time. Good luck with your busy week! kcrus hope day 2 of your new job is going well (and less boring! )

ashlantic Tuesdays is power yoga. It's a lot more movement and longer holds of poses. It makes me sweat a lot and I struggle through a lot of the poses. I've only gone a couple times so far, but I'm hoping to make it part of my routine. Monday's yoga is what I would call gentle yoga. It's more about relaxation and stretching then building strength.
It seems the weather has turned already. It's windy. Boo. Nothing happening here. Have to make a run to the grocery store. The internet keeps cutting out randomly and taking forever to restore. DH is not amused. Actually, as a software developer/programmer who works from home, he's F*@#ing furious. Since we're staying with his parents temporarily, it's up to them to deal with it. (ie: his dad) Hoping it gets resolved soon. I need to find a yoga class I can get in to that also has a daycare.
Hi ladies. Not much to report here. Just going crazy at work in between bouts of nausea, and getting ready for a "working lunch" with my boss at 12:30. Guess that means no Zumba at 1
Work was crazy for me today. Picked up LO who was in a great mood at DC. The mom of the possibly autistic/definitely some type of behavioral difference little boy was talking to the DCP about having someone come in to evaluate him in the classroom. I feel bad for the mom. Los DCP privately complained to me though- that she has to spend a huge amount of her time and effort managing his behavior. Definitely a not great situation for everyone
Not much to report here except my kid has not stopped eating since Friday. Apparently this is making up for his week long stomach bug induced food strike. I have never seen him consume so much food, ever. I can't even keep up with it and I just pack multiple meals and twice the snacks for my moms house. Fortunately his favorite snacks are fairly healthy and he's pretty skinny so I feel like it's ok! Must be in some kind of growth spurt.
We got like 8 inches of snow yesterday. Wtf April?! Go home. You're drunk.
Haha my Leo is packing it away too these days! I wonder if he's not eating enough at DC? Today at dinner he had his bottle in his mouth and tried stuffing food in at the same time! And I swear he almost ate half my pork chop! I'll have to see what snacks I can take to DC. It has to be packaged, unopened.
It was tense at work before I left. I didn't complete something and I wouldn't stay late. This week is not gonna go well. And leo just handed me his snack cup and pointed at the fridge. Ok. Growth spurt?
Talked to the realtor and she said because the market moves so quick, we basically need to just put it on the market and say we need 60 days occupancy. Dh is ready to take the plunge and I know this is a good time for us to buy, but damn. I don't want to adult right now!
sgio7485 so happy to hear your Leo is feeling much better! & yikes, 8 in of snow? ! I'm in denial about spring not arriving. I refuse to wear my coat this week.

BabyStandish hope your yoga class went well and you enjoyed the rest of your day! (And lol at that meme!) bkmama0 that sounds like a great start to your week yesterday. Sorry about that situation with your Lo's daycare and the special needs student. That's really hard for all involved, but it sounds like it'll be best for everyone that he get to a school/daycare with more resources for him. Also our 5/10 year plan is pretty generic. We'd like to get to a better place financially, be able to buy a house and grow our family but besides keeping our eyes out for better jobs (and start trying for a sibling - probably in the summer) we don't have really concrete plans. We're just trying to juggle what life throws at us as it comes! littlelion when will you get the results of your betas? Hope your busy day and week goes well! Sorry Leo isn't loving daycare yet. Was he any better today? Hope he adjusts quickly for you! ashlantic oh I'm really bad at deleting even the obviously blurry/crappy pictures! I am good at organizing the ones from our camera on the computer but the ones from my phone are harder. Have fun with your friend and it'll be nice to have all this realtor paperwork out of the way, then you'll be ready when you see the market turn in your favor! kcrus yes, hope your day went well! raven feels like winter here again after a few weeks of days in the 70s! dashook hope you're feeling well--sorry you had to miss Zumba today. ourcrazynavylife oh the screaming!! It's definitely up there with the worst part of this age. Yay for nap! sgio7485 glad L is feeling better and making up for the not eating last week!

littlelion wow packaged/unopened would be hard for me. Besides yogurts and fruit/applesauce pouches we at least take it out of the package for smaller portions etc. Do they serve lunch? And sorry for work not being understanding...hope they come around for you.

That's exciting! I hope you can find something you love!
