More of a WTF or random but I'm logging on to work at 4:30 after being at LOs CF clinic all day and DH WILL NOT LEAVE. Like he's on his PC right next to me watching videos and laughing and I want him out so I can zone out and do invoices for a few hours. It drives me insane how he always needs to be in the same room as me all the time.

Oh God. That would drive me nuts. DH will actually ask me sometimes when I go to bed if he should give me some "alone time" before coming to bed too.

There was a new video game out last month he was playing and it was GLORIOUS because he'd wake up, pop LO in the ktan and go fight monsters. I could shut the office door and be completely alone for hours. Now he's beat it and is back in here with me ALL.THE.TIME. I just made him go start dinner so I can have a little breathing room.
I swear I love him...we went from seeing each other every couple of days because he worked evening and I worked days to now I see him 7 days a week since he is midnight shift and I work from home. I love him but I may have to kill him.

If it makes you feel better I'd prolly feel the same. H is very rarely home and I kind of enjoy it. The only downfall is we are a one car family and his shifts usually interfere with bed time. By hours so I get stuck home aloy.

Now that is an awesome husband!
waffles I love TWD. For me the appeal is that it's not really about the zombies (though I do think the zombies are cool), but more about the character development and story telling. They keep it so fresh and surprising, and with the subtle foreshadowing and recurring themes I feel like I'm reading a book sometimes more than watching a TV show (which makes sense as it's based on a graphic novel). Sorry, I'm a little fanatical.
My UO is I don't think anyone should be required to be vaccinated. Injecting something in one's (or one's child's) body should be 100% their decision. I do think everyone who can, should be vaccinated. But I don't think states or school districts should be mandating it. This might be a doubly controversial opinion...

@rocknrollfriend I totally love TWD for the characters. And I like that as the seasons go on it is less and less about the zombies. Once they figured it all out (transmission, etc) the walkers really just became something in the background. I am so excited it comes back on Sunday!

I'm usually very live and let live. And if people want to potentially harm themselves, I'm almost always against government intervention. But we don't let people drive drunk because it can kill others. We don't let people do lots of things because it can harm others. So, mentally, I put vaccinations in that same category. If people don't want to vaccinate their kids I'd be okay with that if they didn't expect them to mingle with the general public. I think it's sad for their kid, but again, government intervention is a slippery slope. I live in a state that has had a reported case of measles (just one on the other side of the state fortunately) and my kid is too young for the vaccination. Colorado also has the lowest rate of MMR vaccinations in the nation - just over 80% - which is too low for the "herd effect" to really work. The area I live in is probably one of those areas with a low vaccination rate, so I am somewhat terrified that my kid is going to end up with measles from daycare. Of course the daycare says that they'll send the sick kid home, but by the time the kid is showing symptoms, then this highly contagious disease is already most likely spreading in the daycare.
I really don't think that those parent's desire to keep their children "pure" or whatever trumps my desire to not have my child die or worse from a preventable disease.
I truly understand where you're coming from with the government not mandating things like injections, but this is one of those rare cases where I'm personally in favor of more government.
I cannot get my head wrapped around the thought of people enjoying cold pizza, especially for breakfast. I doubt I would want to eat that first thing in the morning if it was the only thing left in the house.
First, I love heels but I fell wearing some when I was 6 months pregnant and broke my ankle. Now I'm terrified of falling while carrying DD so I haven't worn heels since.
I love cold pizza.
I think vaccinations should be mandatory. Right now there are 4 cases of measles within am hour of where I live. 3 were never vaccinated and one is young and only had the first dose. DD just got her first dose last week and won't get her second until she's around 5. There should be no choice given if it's something that can potentially kill others.
My UO us that I don't get why weddings are such a big deal. I understand why people get married (although it's not something that is important to me I can understand why it is important to others), but I don't get why people spend so much money and get so crazy about weddings.
If given the choice between fruit and vegetables, I'd choose vegetables. I could live on those steamer bags of veggies! And the occasional large portions of steak ...
I hate flip flops! There should not be anything between toes! Soooo uncomfortable!
I also hate flat shoes (other than sneakers and certain sandals).
I agree on the flip flops- my toes cannot handle them. I love flat shoes though. I only wear heels if I absolutely have to.
ETA- I also dislike flip flops on men. Sandals, fine. Flip flops ... no. And Uggs. After seeing a million middle school girls wearing them, I just can't anymore.
