Ugh this week is almost as stressful as last week. I love it when my boss commits to a Frid deliverable on Mon, assigns it to a mgr who is ooo M & T, who then assigns it to me on Weds. Awesome.
Leo woke up so hungry this morning. I think he only snacked and drank milk yesterday at my sisters'. He saw some pastries I had on the kitchen counter this morning. After giving him a few bites, I tried to put strawberries in his bowl and he pulled the bowl away and pointed again at the pastries. Lol.
Back to work today! LO had his checkup Monday and he has a "small" ear infection and the doctor gave me the choice to treat it or watch it... I figured if it was bad enough he would say we need to treat it...so we will see how it goes...LO has been getting up during the night for a week.. I just go get him and bring him to bed and he goes right back to sleep... I am starting to love the snuggles but momma wants her sleep and getting kicked in the face is not fun! Every night that I put him to bed I pray he stays there but he has other plans...the thing is could it be his ear hurting and therefore he is waking up? Maybe I will call the peds and ask if they can just call in the antibiotics and use it if needed!
We have no leftovers in the fridge (unusual) which means I have to make lunch. I'm starving and completely uninspired. What are you ladies having for lunch?

Em had a little bit of sniffle yesterday. Assuming she picked up something at daycare Monday. She's still snotty and has now progressed to inconsolable. She's also cutting two molars. literally nothing I'm doing is helping she's screaming so hard her little hands are shaking.

so sad. Hope she lets you comfort her soon. Any pain meds you're using? Like orajel?

I have no leftovers either. And I should be driving home at lunch. Probably drive thru (again). Sigh.

littlelion I gave her some tylenol. She finallyyyy calmed down a little bit then she farted like an old man. I think she must've had a gas bubble. So she got some gas drops too.
ashlantic I have to admit I usually go easy for lunch. Grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, hot dogs, quesadillas, etc and then make a big lunch. DH usually eats the leftovers for lunch, if we have any. I for some reason am not a big fan of leftovers so don't usually make enough for a ton of leftovers. Hope you figured something out! ourcrazynavylife hope Em gets to feeling better
My random is should I be concerned that LO only has 6 teeth on no sign of more coming at this point. I will ask at his appt next month but was just wondering if any other the other littles aren't getting their molars yet.

I actually looked up a teething chart the other day because lo has been teething like crazy, but I can't tell what's breaking through. There's a huge range on when teeth come in! I wouldn't worry too much.
I just called the peds and asked them to call in the antibiotic for LO... I called hubby to tell him and he says yeah I did notice him pulling at his ear last night...hopefully it will help him sleep at night too!

LO bit down on my left nipple pretty hard last night when he fell asleep so now it's still hurting today. I'm surprised he didn't cut through the skin. I'm also surprised my yell didn't wake him up lol

My LO only has 7 teeth, and her top 3 still aren't fully in. They've just barely cracked the surface. Our old pedi in OR told me that it's perfectly normal, and perhaps even better for the teeth to come in later. It' means they're protected longer encased in the gums.
LO went to bed late last night, around 8:30 pm. Thank goodness she decided to sleep in too. I woke up at 8 am (late for me) and still had time to take a shower and shave my legs before she woke up. Awesome! Went to the grocery store this morning. Crazy good sale on berries and I decided it would not be absurd to spend $20+ on strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. BTW, ashlantic I'm having raspberries for lunch lol Took LO to the park. Two other moms there (and 1 aunt, from what I gathered) and no one said hi back. I don't understand, aren't we all in this motherhood thing together? And another thing, she wears blue, she's automatically a boy?! I didn't realize I was supposed to discriminate against colors. Would have thrown that memo out anyway. Sorry, end rant. Anywho, they all left within 5 minutes of us arriving; we stayed anyway. A 6 year old boy showed up and would help her up and down the slide. It was sweet. We left when I noticed she started to turn pink because I didn't bring any sunscreen. (Spontaneous stop on way back from store.) She's napping now. I'm eating raspberries and drinking my flat white with 3 pumps of caramelized honey. Thank you Starbucks.

My stomach hates me. Seriously regretting my grilled Nutella and banana sandwich that I had for lunch. It was delicious, but is not mixing well with things.

I don't feel that great. I was crampy earlier and thought AF was coming. Now I feel nauseous. I hope there's no GI side to this sniffles bug that Em has.

Ugh dealing with the exact same thing. Poor girl. I ended up giving some Motrin this evening.
littlelion I dunno. I just found it super strange because they haven't leaked since like January.
Oh man. I leaked off and on for several years after my first. It stopped just before I got pregnant with my second...in fact, that's how I figured out I should check if I was KU. It started leaking again out of nowhere. Maybe a possibility?
