I want to TP H. Last couple of weeks he really stepped up to start helping around the house which I knew wouldn't last. He stopped last week and when I asked if he was going to do the chores he agreed on last night he went off about how I'm home now so he shouldn't have to because he actually works.
I knew this would happen if I went off work, I just didn't expect it so soon. I have no problem doing light house work and watching DS but if I'm going to be doing heavy cleaning all the time I might as well be at work and not making us financially tight. I don't think he quite gets that this isn't a vacation for me, I'm supposed to be taking it easy.
That is so frustrating housecarder, I am sorry you're dealing with that! I think they sometimes just don't get it and that's annoying.
I went on Zoloft about a month ago and started with just taking a half pill. After talking with my doctor yesterday, I felt comfortable with going up to a full pill (which is what it said on the bottle, I was just reluctant to do it), so I took one this morning. I feel like I'm off in lala land, I think this is why I've always went without taking anti-depressants. Does this get better after a week or so? I guess this is my random haha!
My TP is for my co-worker that has the Hunger Games whistle thing as her text tone and she gets texts ALL. EFFING. DAY. Turn it off, it is so freaking annoying. A trip to Target might be in order today since she's on my nerves after only being here for 30 minutes!
J is showing off his toddler side this week. Ugh. We had a lovely walk to the park only to come home to dinner and have an EPIC meltdown. I think he was hungry, but he refused to eat. I got one pouch in him and I guess that was his dinner, everything else was a no go. He was also exhausted, which didnt help the situation, but he did go to bed without a fuss. Now I am worried he is either on the brink of getting sick, or maybe is working on his 2 year molars. Time will tell, I suppose. I just hope he will be alright for my parents when we are away Saturday night.

It must be a full moon for husbands or something. I'm currently fighting with mine and I actually don't know what the fight is about because I refuse to get involved. I had a long day yesterday where I ended up babysitting my neighbor kids until 6:30 when my kid needed to be in bed at 7. Not my choice but the mom ran late. Since H cleaned the playroom a week ago, he seems to think it should be spotless now or something and he was mad that the kids got out all the toys (spoiler alert: all day, every day, DH). Anyway, I refused to engage in him bitching at me and I was exhausted so I went to bed. He told me I didn't realize how hard *my* pregnancy was on *him.* I may have laughed a little. I'm not sure what his one sided fight was even about except that he had a bad day at work and resented that I agreed to watch a friend's kids. He's normally so great. I don't know what his deal is right now. So...throat punch!
housecarder, thank you, I will definitely give it a little bit. I just hate feeling like my head is in the clouds but I can tell the half pill wasn't enough.
I thought so too, but apparently she doesn't think so. That's just one of the many things she does to annoy me haha! She's the person for me that everything they do gets under my skin, so when it's just her and I on Tuesdays and Thursdays I usually take a long lunch to get a break.
Oh, and I ate cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast and now I am burping up cinnamon. Gross.
Me too! Cereal has been a BIG craving for me this pregnancy. It is so bad for you though, well, at least the ones I have been choosing.
+1 Cereal FTW! I have a collection of about 5 boxes currently in my office. I was going to like acorn99 but then I read the second part of the sentence.
Nothing new here. My shoulders are sore from the new release of Body Combat last night and I for sure look like a turtle on its back every time I get out of bed which is 4+ times a night to pee.

+2 for cereal! I never eat it when I'm not pregnant, but right now our cupboard is stocked because I eat it every morning. It's also my go-to in the middle of the night. I was eating sugary crap and my naturopath convinced me to switch to a high protein cereal.

Guise, I'm wearing a t-shirt!!!!!!!! Is spring finally here?
I'm off today because I had an OB appt, and they called and cancelled. By that point it was too late to cancel my supply teacher and shower, so I'm home for the day. I should probably go buy the paint for DS's room and get started on prepping it.
This week has crawled by. I have a doctor appt this afternoon because I've had this nasty cough for a month now. I hate turning to antibiotics, but I'm giving up on my body kicking this on its own. I think a sick day is happening tomorrow.
My H is being a PITA too! He's been so moody and yesterday he said something about "the whole house being in a rut." Uh, no dude, DD and I are fine, YOU are in a rut and dragging us down. Butthead.
housecarder sending a TP to your H. The whole reason you had to stop working is because of contractions, which means you need to be taking it as easy as possible!
TnT10 I went on anti-depressants a couple years ago and had a similar issue. The first few days I felt like I was walking around in a fog and not myself at all, it really worried me. I believe it did level out afterwards though.
+1000 to the cereal, I'm eating a bowl of Lucky Charms right now! I wanted to eat something better like peanut butter on toast, but it's just sort of boring and not as good as sugary sweet cereal.
As for me, not much going on over here. Feel free to send some TPs my mom's way because she always deserves them. Randoms-wise, I started working earlier than usual today so that H and I can go see the new Divergent movie at 4, so I'm excited about that! I liked the books and we enjoyed the first two movies so I'm looking forward to it, plus H is always working so it's not often we get to spend quality time together.

+1 for crazy toddlers this week my kid bit other kids 4 times yesterday at daycare and didnt go to sleep for an hour and a half after bedtime commenced. I thought we might be done with the biting because she had been doing better and is getting more verbal and able to express herself but i guess we are still working on it i dont think timeout is working the teacher asked for ideas to help her understand is not okay to bite.
I just want to TP Thursdays in general. I have a student intern, and while hes totally fine and does well.....Im just over it. I don't want to be shadowed all day. I want my lunch and prep to be uninterrupted and quiet.
On the other hand, DS is rocking his Okay to Wake clock. He's been waking up around 6:15 everyday, checking the light and going back to sleep until about 6:45 (which is when it turns green). Its been a god send because it makes the mornings so much easier. We have to be out the door by 7:15 so its a perfect amount of time. No bullshitting, no tv or meltdowns. Love this thing!

I LOVED the books, and I have been not impressed by the movies so far. I have released it, and went into the movie with no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! It was really good. I'm still upset with the directions the movies went, but I did enjoy this movie. Keep in mind, they broke the last movie into two parts!!! This is only Part 1

DS went through a biting phase too.. The book Teeth are Not for Biting helped, you can get the board book version on amazon for pretty cheap. They also have a hands are not for hitting one as well.
What really helps DS with this kind of crap is telling him what his mouth and hands are used for...instead of what we dont do with them. We came up with a little chant/saying and now he can say it back to me. "Mouths are for...." and he says "Kissing, eating, or talking". and sometimes I'll follow it up with, "Do we bite our friends?" and he will usually tell me NO!

Zoloft might just not be for you. Sometimes it takes changing a to a few different pills before finding the one. It the la la feeling doesn't go away in a week, I would definitely mention it to your doctor.

Do you have a link for the one that you bought? Our daughter sometimes wakes up way before she is supposed to get out of bed, so this might be helpful!

I would totally TP that co-worker.....
I will give it a week or so and see how it goes, thanks! I feel a little bit more like myself after I've eaten, so maybe I need more than cereal for breakfast haha!
OMG and she's texting again... ugh. And she's back to eating ice, I see my lunch break coming up soon!

The lights are a little bright, so I put it up on his tall dresser because I didn't want it to shine in his face. He sleeps with a night light anyway, so the light doesn't bother him. Here's the link!

I liked the book though!
We have Hands are not for Hitting and Tails are Not for Pulling. Ask my cats how well that message has gotten across.
So TOTALLY random question... Is there a consensus on when the third trimester starts? When I google it, all the calendars that come up say its 27 weeks, but both of my apps say 28?
