Can I go here? Failed IVF transfer

Hey ladies.

I just got the call from my RE that the two embies we transferred at the end of January didn't stick. Even though I never got to see those two gorgeous lines on a HPT, I was shocked at how attached I was from the day we transferred those embryos.


I'm having a huge struggle with the guilt that I failed those babies.

Something someone once said in here stuck with me "you can't qualify loss". And a loss is exactly exactly what you are feeling so of course you can come here. Although I hate seeing you here.

I often feel like my body is failing me. I'm so sorry you feel this too.

My husband is taking it harder than I expected. And he is more of a "leave me alone I want to just be by myself" grief person. And I'm a hugger.... So that has made supporting him interesting

I'm so sorry It's so hard when the husband's grieving differently or more than expected. Especially when you are too. Just be there for each other, whatever that looks like, and know that we're all here for you.

That is how MH is. It's so very hard because I am like you. I am a hugger and a very open person so I really need to talk about things. It's hard because when I was going through my 3rd loss I felt a bit alone. I wanted so much to talk to him but he went into his "cave". That is when I found all the wonderful ladies from CAL and they helped me through. We are here for you! *hug*

Honestly, no matter the stage.... It is a loss. It just awful no matter what stage those embies were at. From the moment we enter the journey of TTC if we have difficulties conceiving or carrying, it is all the same loss. I have experienced both and there is no difference.... The dreams are extinguished either way. Be kind to yourself.... and grieve the way that makes sense for you. (((((((Hugs)))))))
