Im trying to get ready to go clean up the dog mess in the yard since it so nice out today. Its supposed to get up to almost 70 degrees out today, but my motivation to get moving is non-existent.

Good morning! DH is taking DS to his friend's son's bday party. I was supposed to go but the last couple days have been kinda rough so I'm staying Hm. I just need a few hours at Hm alone to lay on the couch and rest. That's about it so far.

Spring dog clean up is no fun. We clean up as he goes so we don't have to deal with that.
Finishing some coffee then taking the pup out to play for a bit. Headed out maternity clothes shopping after and should probably start looking for shoes for my cousin's wedding.
Hoping to not be gone too long so I can come home and take a nice walk while it's nice and sunny out.
Morning! We are going to look at open houses...it's our "thing" on Saturdays.
I'm almost out of my favorite perfumes so I'm wearing a travel size of Jasmine Noir that I bought a while back to test out and see if I like, well I'm getting a terrible headache...ughhh!
The weather is supposed to get pretty gnarly later so hopefully we make it to all of them first
Well we were supposed to spend the day outside enjoying the weather and getting some yard work done. But DS was throwing up last night. He seems OK so far today just cranky and tired so maybe we will at least get some fresh air this afternoon.

I spent the morning cleaning out/re-organizing DD's closet (1 of about 50 organization projects I want to get done before baby comes...why do such projects always take 3x longer than I think they will, haha). I'm wiped out and need a good hour to rest on the couch before I try to do anything else. Thinking about doing an at-home "date night" tonight (cooking together after the kids go to bed, maybe a movie) if I can summon any energy.

Afternoon all. Since it's nice out we spent the morning and afternoon at the zoo. Got in 4 miles of walking. Just got back and DS is down for a nap. We're planning on grilling out tonight and since the real feel says 80 degrees I might let DS break out his water table.

Good luck with the weaning flyakite.. It's tough but it gets better!!!
I spent a couple hours at urgent care today because my wrist was killing me and I was worried I sprained it somehow.. Apparently, carpal tunnel/tendinitis/some thumb thing starting with a 'q' is extremely common during pregnancy and I was overzealous with the use of my thumb & wrist while we were taping and painting the nursery this week :-(. Now I get to wear an awesome brace and hope it goes away quickly and doesn't stick around for the next 4 months.. Be careful with your hands!

I normally get out sooner then this but, I have only been out once so far because of morning sickness and our lovely weather.
I hate this part of owning a dog (I assume everyone does).. It's been almost impossible during the winter with all the snow so the yard looks like a mine field we get to clean every melt.

I'm exhausted as well. That seems to be a common theme.
6 loads of laundry done, all dried on the clothes line. We finished the swing set for the most part. I pruned the trees. Went for a little ATV ride with DS1 to my parents and the farm. Grilled some burgers and brats for lunch. Loaded up some landscaping bricks from around the lilac bushes that we didn't want there anymore. I think that's about it. As you can tell, this is our first nice day this year (no jacket or hat needed) and I refuse to go inside. However, I tweaked my back and can barely move. DS2 has had a fever for a few days and has slept most of the day, when not strapped to my chest.
As for the motivation to clean up dog poop. I put the lawnmower on 1" and let that do the job
Slept until 9am (finally comfortable) and then laid in bed reading for another hour. Got up, had some bagels for breakfast and then H wanted to do some yard stuff before it got warm out.
Turns out the pressure washer is broken. It was working week before last, the neighbors borrowed it last week and now it had hardly any pressure and it's hemorrhaging water from places it shouldn't. I'm peeved, but they do so much nice stuff for us and the pressure washer is so old that I probably won't push the issue.
So we bought a new one, H assembled it and finished the driveway while I did the weed whacking. He still want done, so I started trimming this bush that half surrounds one of the large decorative boulders we have. Got 3/4 of the way through that and my back was killing me. So, now we're inside taking a break.
Tomorrow I need to drop some stuff at Goodwill and go to Costco.
Happy weekend! Took DS to the park, grocery shopped, went to the nursery and bought some shrubs and planted them, grilled for dinner, now sore as shit collapsed on the couch. I love spring but my pregnant back and hips are not keeping up.
lexisophie55 what swing set did you get? We're looking at either buying or building a playset but they're so dang expensive.
It was gorgeous here today, gives me so much energy. We spent the day fixing up the yard, planting flowers and vegetables, and playing in the sprinkler. I also did laundry, grocery shopped, and cleaned out the van. This is the most productive I've been in months. Oh and DD took an unheard of 3 hour nap.
Only thing that would make today better is if I could have some wine while sitting here watching H grill brats and sweet corn.

We decided to do the at-home date night, we're going to make pan-seared steaks with bleu cheese, green beans, potatoes, & warm sourdough, and German chocolate cake for dessert. I'm starving & can't wait. I only wish I could have a couple glasses of a nice pinot noir alongside the meal.
Has anyone ever had any non-alcoholic wine that's not terrible? The one I tried last pregnancy was like straight up apple juice, yuck.

fem,We built it ourselves. I couldn't handle the prices of the playsets and they were so small! We went to Menards and just started picking out wood, went home and threw it together. More trips to Menards, returning and buying and we finally finished today. 6x6 tower with a 12 ft swing arm. Another tower being added for a 7ft twisty slide and rings added as well. Sandbox underneath. CHEAP. I'd say $500

Thanks for the info, that's good to hear it was a lot cheaper! I have no skills in this area but H is an engineer so I bet he could pull it off.

Well I'm exhausted. My neighbor's husband passed from MS last year so I joined her and her son at the local annual MS fundraiser walk this morning. Over 5 miles and 14,000+ steps walked. Maybe I'll try to take a nap next.

Napping didn't seem like it was going to happen so I'm chilling on the porch painting my nails instead. I'm not even that big yet and trying to paint my toenails is hell. Maybe I'll stick with paying to get them done from now on.

Got a new medicine cabinet put up in the bathroom, new cabinets in laundry area and finished putting together and for the most part organizing the new cabinets in the kitchen woo-hoo. Also put up some test strips of paint to see if we like it. Next stop paint and staining the cabinets and the kitchen is done. Been a long weekend for my hubby. Next project is putting cabinets and shelves up for a sewing area and a new shead outside and then we can start working on the nursery. So excited.
So much movement happening over the last 2 days. This little one is going to be a mover and a shaker I think!! (Ha ha except when DH tries to feel it, then s/he stops)
Finally broke the dry spell. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but halfway through I kept thinking about the bowl of cereal I was gonna have when we were done.

Ughh I need to...but DNW
I didn't make too much of an effort. I said 'I think I feel well enough to lay there and let you do it, but I'm not taking my shirt off. And let me finish this pasta first so I don't feel sick.'
