UO and nosy opinions (stolen from WP)

I'm home, both kids are asleep, and DH is out bowling. Entertain me!

One (or more) UOs, and add in a nosy opinion you've heard recently for some extra funsies.

UO: I hate my dog. Not dogs in general, just my dog. He eats his own shit and we can't figure out how to stop it.

Nosy opinion: My neighbor thinks we should have one more kid, because we totes need a girl, and my MIL (who she's friends with) is really upset we didn't "give" her a girl (MIL has three boys).

mrsmuq have you tried the pill they sell at pet stores? I can't think of what it's called at the moment but it changes the taste and makes them stop.

Also, it drives me nuts when people make comments about a "complete" family having a boy & girl

My UO: I'm not a fan of the newborn stage and cannot wait until DD2 is a little older. I miss sleep way too much.

The British lady from it's me or the dog said to give dogs pineapple if they eat their poo to stop them.

We have an issue with our dogs doing this, too.  And it makes one of them overly constipated (duh).  A vet tech friend recently recommended sprinkling MSG on all their food, it makes the poop really bitter apparently so they won't eat it.  Not sure if it's working yet or not, but it's not hurting anything at least.

Depends on which kid for me. DS1 - no, nope, nope. Had severe PPD and was more or less parenting by myself all the time. DS2 - I love this newborn stage!

True that it depends on the kid for me too. DD1 was such an easy baby and sleeping through the night early on. DD2 is a challenge, not sttn, and barely naps. Plus she's a grump a lot
