Hello all - I'm a Bump transplant that usually just hangs out in my birth board. Greetings and salutations
So I had my beeb 7/21/14 and returned to work at the end of September, was EBF while I was home and now I pump at work and BF at night - and until very recently I would pump at least 20oz/day. My supply has tanked - I'm lucky if I get 6oz/day. I can't think of anything that might be affecting this - I'm still getting the same shitty sleep I got before, I'm eating plenty, not taking BC, I take Fenugreek and drink lots of water...is there a point where your boobs just quit? Can I talk them out of it?
I've been crampy off and on for a few weeks but no period yet. And sexytime has been 100% condomned, and almost never happens anyway, so I feel pretty safe about saying I'm not preggo.

20oz/day is an insane amount to be pumping! Don't count on seeing those numbers again - it is a serious oversupply. I do have a few questions before I give advice.
What does your pump schedule at work look like? How long are you away from LO? Are you giving bottles at home while you are available to nurse instead?

I wouldn't be suprised if it started soon. Usually with a lo that age it is hormones (pregnant or period) or they are taking less from you due to solids. Especially if you haven't changed anything and are getting enough water.
Edit : I also was a super pumper at work. I would get 15-20 ounces in 2-3 pumps while away. It went back up after my period started then dipped back down right before the next month. Not as low as 6 ounces a day though.

It was awesome! We didn't have to supplement at all. I'm away from 8-5:30. We bottle feed except for the MOTN feedings because she has 2 teeth now and isn't so gentle when she's 100% awake.
I hope it's just my period. I'm not ready to be done with BF

ETA: Sentences that made sense. So tired.
My first PP period tanked my supply big time. I pumped every two hours at work and only managed to get 2 oz some days. It lasted about a week, then I got my period. Supply went right back to normal and I did not take any supplements.
How often do you pump at work? Almost 10 hrs away from LO, I would try to pump every three hrs. Also - I know you said LO is teething, but when my supply tanked it was important to me LO didn't get bottles. Baby is much better at getting milk out, which signals more milk. I would suggest backing off some bottles while you are home to nurse. If you don't, you definitely need to pump at home while baby gets a bottle.
FWIW- DS has 6 teeth and we have no issues nursing. If he's being Mr. Lazy Latch and hurting me, I take him off and put him on the other side. He usually figures it out!
If it might be cycle/hormone related: consider a calcium/magnesium supplement. Kellymom has dosage details. Have you replaced membranes on your pump? If no, do that asap. Try power pumping to simulate a growth spurt. Pumo 20 minutes on, 10 off, 10 on, 10 off, 10 on. Do this at same time daily for a week. Don't look at bottles. Just keep doing it. Pumping on empty puts in order for more milk.
