for those of you who work out regularly, are you just continuing with your regular routine for now? I like to go to pilates, yoga, spinning, and barre classes and even though I'm excited to move on to prenatal classes at some point, it's probably not necessary at the moment. right? I have yoga scheduled for tomorrow and I'm getting all super cautious and paranoid.

My RE is pretty conservative and said no working out except yoga and walking. I was a little annoyed at first but now I'm not even sure I could workout if I tried, I'm so tired all the time. After 1st tri I'm hoping I can do something!
I've heard hot yoga is bad and any upside down stuff, but other than that I'd assume you're safe unless the doctor tells you otherwise.
After almost three years of TTC, IVF #1 = Menopur + Follistim + other stuff. Retrieved 14, 12 mature, 7 fertilized, only 1 (6AA) made it to day 5 blast. BFP! DD born 12-10-2016
My RE also told me to take it easy and limit it to walking. I understand no more Zumba, but I miss my stability ball class a lot. I'm hoping when I go back in on Friday she will give me the clear to do more.
I just emailed my RE and she wrote me back quickly and said I could keep doing everything, just not to push it and to stick to the easier classes. I think I'll do that while I still have the energy to do so
Re regular yoga, I'd just talk to the instructor about any modifications. I think exercising (as long as you haven't been advised otherwise) in first tri is okay due to uterus placement but I probably wouldn't be comfortable with too much twisting. I've dropped some of my other classes (trampoline, other toning) that I was doing when I had my loss a few months ago, but I think mostly from superstition than anything else.
Edit: I was not healthy or active with my first pregnancy so I'd like to have some sort of reasonable exercise regime. Unfortunately I tend to like really sweaty, heart-pounding classes. I'm going to just use the "talk test" as my guide for exercising while pregnant.
Edit #2: I probably wouldn't do pilates unless I had a prenatal instructor. But I also have terribly weak abs!

I am being a Lil more cautious I do 3 days a week circuit training. I have cut down the intensity and amount of reps. Till we get in the clear. I am not running as far and when I run usually flat and slower speed
I was told I could maintain my usual routine. I was going to spinning through week 30 until I was too big to make comfortable adjustments on the bike anymore. I ran through 32 weeks when the extra weight starting giving me shin splints.
Just listen to your body and appreciate what it can do
And congrats! I didn't see your bfp post, but I'm happy to see you got one!
I just stopped hot yoga (which I've become obsessed with). I'm still running and trying to be active for the most part, but I had the all-clear with DD1 and I'm assuming I'll have the same with this #2. I ran 5Ks up to 30 or 32 weeks with no pregnancy or delivery issues.
I'm going to emulate what I did the first time in hopes for another boring pregnancy/delivery!
I do yoga, swimming and running. I will keep up with my routine until told otherwise, but my yoga instructor is pretty good about modifying moves as needed for the preggos in our class.
I'm signed up to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon in November, so I need to make sure it's okay that I still do it. Otherwise, I may have to eat $200. Fingers crossed she'll let me at least walk it!

You can always defer Disney races until the next year for medical reasons like pregnancy

I'm sticking with barre 3-4 times a week, but taking it easy if I start to feel bad. Trying to walk on the other nights, but there's also just been a lot of sleeping.
