Intro from a lurker (update: loss mentioned)

Hi! I'm Sugar! I'm 30, and MH is 31. We got married in Dec 2013 and were NTNP for a few months and then actively started trying. I found TD in Oct 2014 and started temping after reading TCOYF, and I've been creepily lurking GKU and TTTC ever since. We were planning on starting testing with an RE last summer, but then MH's daughter from his prior marriage moved in with us! She is in elementary school and is such a sweetie. I love her to death, and she has unknowingly pulled me out of an IF funk more times than I can count. So, we put a hold on everything and continued trying with plans to start testing this summer while DSD is spending time with her mom/family. But then, last night I got a surprise BFP! EDD is 12/27 according to FF, but I couldn't find my BBT this cycle so just used OPKs and secondary signs. I always thought I would FEEL pregnant and "just know," but yeah, not true. Boobs hurt, appetite is meh, I'm peeing all the time, and my jeans are super tight.
I called my OB/GYN this morning as soon as the office opened, and the girl was like, "We'll see you on 5/25 for a sonogram!" I guess they don't have you come in at all until closer to the 8-10 week mark. All I'm thinking is, "Don't you want to talk to me about not drinking...or something??"
Anyway, I'm super excited to be here and to come out of lurkdom!
