Any physical therapist out there?

Since I fractured my arm on Black Friday it is really so much better. However I still do not have the ability to fully straighten it or turn my hand palm up. The orthopedic surgeon was no help he just said it should get better and I don't need to see him anymore. When I asked if I should start lifting or try to stretch it more even though it hurts his exact words were "you're an adult you can make your own decisions " and walked out of the room. So now I dont know where to go from here. Any advice?

I was so shocked that I just left. I've never broken a bone before so I thought it was a legit question. By the time I walked to my car I realized how mad I was

What! ? What a ridiculously unacceptable response. I'd start lighting up his reviews online (because I'm passive-aggressive like that). Is it a shared office where you could inquire with another surgeon?

H is a PT. He said get a new doctor and get a referral for PT. Sorry you're not get the help you need and deserve.

Yeah, that doc sucks. Maybe see if his office will give you a referral for PT. Then you won't have to wait before you can get into another doctor.
