H and I are taking the boys plus our nephew mini golfing this morning.. We don't expect our boys will do much more than running around but it should be a beautiful morning.

In going to Target. AGAIN. Our shower curtain has reached epic levels of grossness. It's past washing.
It's supposed to be DHs job to clean bathrooms. He does a shitty job at it about every 4 weeks, then he has the audacity to complain about it. So Im doing it today to get it really clean then every Thursday will be "DH clean the bathroom day." Sorry to treat him like an 11 year old, but I'm over it.
babys2015, mini golf sounds like fun! Nothing too exciting today. Work then I promised LG we would slide after school. My H got the lawn mowed yesterday so we can play outside this evening.
graciest719 SO is in charge of dusting but loves to dust AROUND everything, and never actually moves or picks up anything. I end up re-dusting every so often to do it right. Men.
Morning! Not much going on today besides work. Ew.
My SIL brought along my nephew last night. He is two weeks older than M. He's a walking and playing machine. He attacked M's toys and had a blast. Meanwhile, M was a quiet observer and was nervous to approach him. She's a shy one, for sure. But what a difference between boy vs. girl. D's energy is insane. I didn't realize how calm my child actually is!
I'm going to Miami next week for a work thing. I'm starting to get nervous. I don't want to leave M. I don't want to fly on a plane. I'm just not excited. Hmph.
E was up until 1030 last night. She would be asleep on me but would start screaming as soon as i put her down in her crib and she would point towards my room. Finally at 1015 I took her in there and she fell asleep so I took her to her crib and she was fine the rest of the night. The whole time hb was sound asleep I could hear him snoring from e's room. She was in our room before while I took my shower and when I got out I knew hb was asleep then as well because he asked if I was gonna take a shower. I am hurt and upset with him right now. Not to mention we were out to dinner with my parents and he just got up and went to talk to his brother and was gone about 1/2the meal.
Nothing much going on here. It's going to be a hot one today and I am heading out around 2 for a meeting with a customer downtown. Which means walking to where I need to go.
Also, I am in serious need of some work clothes. I guess I got rid of a bunch last year. I could get by with my pants but need some warm weather tops and maybe a skirt or two.
Hi. Still in training today but my boss is teaching so I'm just in the back, watching and maybe helping if I feel like it.
So, for today's Boss Stories, he was 15 minutes late to our meeting point because he slept in and already used the word "retarded." We are training at a state mental health facility.
YEP. Whoever suggested a blog about this shit, I'm starting to agree.

Jaw dropped.
I took CPR training a month or so back. The guy giving it was in training and his boss was there. He used the R word twice. My advice after the training was that he didn't use that word anymore. Get this- the guy has a daughter with a mental retardation and is in a facility for treatment. Wtf. Not ok with that word at all.

Wooww.
Yeah, he's always like, it's ok, I'd never say it to someone it could offend or during a live training.
Um.. you offended ME and maybe just don't ever?? Regardless if it's heard or not, NOT APPROPRIATE.
malvo, how long is your Miami trip? It's a fun place! But, yeah, I get anxiety just thinking about leaving N overnight. I'm probably more attached to her than she is to me, haha!

I'm gone Tuesday to Friday. I'll be home around noon Friday. Screw unpacking. I'll be making a beeline for my human as soon as I get off the plane. Thankfully I get to fly out of our little local airport instead of Philly, so I can drive myself to and from the airport.
I left her in November for five days. But I feel like I grow more attached to her every day and this trip seems much more nerve wracking!
Never been to Miami. I went to Disney on my senior class trip. That has been the extent of my Florida visits.
What veggies do your kids like? A is so NOT a veggie person. She will eat fruit all day every day, but not veggies.
She also hasn't been wanting to try anything new lately. Are other little ones doing this?
M will eat steamed carrots. Most of the time. Other than that, we do the hidden vegetable raviolis. We tried peas the other night and she had a blast squishing them between her fingers.
DC offers her new foods every day and she refuses 98% of the time.

Glad to know A isn't the only one! She doesn't like pasta either so I can't hide it in ravioli for her. Throw me a bone, kid!

Avocado. Green beans. Squash. Sweet potatoes. We still do pouches sometimes and I always try to get the ones that are fruit and veggies.
Jo is flexing her muscles when it comes to food. She's refusing things o know she likes and not trying new stuff. The only thing she will always eat is avocado.
sjep922, I buy every frozen veggie available and offer something at every meal. Lima beans, green beans, peas, butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower, mixed veggies. I also usually roast one big sweet potato each week and feed her that throughout the week.
I buy pasta made with veggies, too. Makes me feel like she might be getting some, even if it's minimal.
I also buy the Dr. Praeger's frozen veggie burger things. Spinach cakes, kale burgers, whatever they are. They are veggie, quick and tasty! They make dinosaur shaped ones, too. Haha.
sjep922 e is a potato kid. Loves mashed and fries. She did eat some corn on the computer. The other week and I gave her some peas. She aye a few that were stuck in her potatoes.
I'm so ready for it to be Sunday already. My week hasn't gone the way I needed it to. So I have no desire to go into work and leave my little guy. We have his 15 month appointment tomorrow afternoon, so I have to take off half a day. Which is ok, it's just meeting a new pedi is kinda scary for him.
sjep922, A eats most veggies. Avocado is a favorite. Squash and zucchini, corn in the cob! Both girls love pasta so I buy the sauce with lots of veggies. Have you tried giving one veggie a week? Maybe repeated exposure will get her used to a new veggie. I have better luck with fresh and canned over frozen with A.
Thanks for the suggestions! A does eat avocado, so I guess there's that. She'll sometimes eat a pea or two. But when I try carrots, zucchini or corn she turns her nose up.
@megaugust10 we moved and lost our super awesome pedi, and his year checkup was with someone who could get us in quickly. She wasn't open to questions or anything. So I'm hoping the new dr is better. I'm sure this week will be ok, just stressing.
