Ahhhh Monday. As much as I'm bummed GoT is over for the year, I'm excited to not stay up until 10 on Sundays any more. I'm tiirrreeeeddd! Busy week at work for me.
I also found the hb on my home doppler today! This is going to help a lot.

I'm laying in bed waiting for DD to wake up. If I try to go back to sleep she'll just wake up as I'm dozing off in sure. No plans today, although part of me thinks I could drink a smoothie so we might drive and get one after first nap and see. Last time after a certain point I lived on smoothies but it wasn't this early.

Happy Monday ladies!
Ugh, I am really not feeling things today. I feel so burned out at work and just don't even want to pretend any more. This week is going to be short (I'm taking Friday off) and next week I'll only work 2 days. I just need a BREAK.
Anyone else up for HDBD starting next week? Thoughts?
Happy Monday ladies! Last week was a tough week for me, prexhaustion hit me like a freight train, and I could barely function. Today feels better, my food aversions and nausea are changing, hopefully they'll be gone completely soon. The protein shakes that I lived on weeks 4-7, are now all of a sudden disgusting week 8. And instead of constant annoying nagging nausea, I'll feel fine and all of a sudden I'm running to the bathroom. Have yet to actually puke, but been close a few times. Good times!
rinny, I've been debating the home Doppler. I'm glad it's helping you!

Woke up at the somewhat acceptable time of 630. We ate Cheerios out of plastic cups, watched some Paw Patrol, and now I am doing laundry while DS runs around like a maniac. The plan is to hit up the pool as soon as it opens at 10. Eta: I can't spell

Good morning ladies! I don't think I checked in over the weekend. But here we are...Monday. Ugh Monday. I need to get my act together at work. We'er just past a particularly busy few weeks and I've just lost steam.
In fun news, I watched 3 epis of GoT this weekend, and have 3 more. So while everyone is sad that the season is over, I've got at least 3 more nights of tv fun!

Oh, you're in for a real treat. The last 2 are some of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen.
Monday's are sort of like my weekend, because we work weekends, so while it's not a total day off, Monday's tend to be easy. I spent the morning weeding my garden, cursing out baby bunnies or other small things that got through my chicken wire and ate all my lettuce, and late planting a few plants I got from lowes because some of my sprouts didn't survive transplant. I might go down to my dads to swim with the dogs, and ill probably procrastinate the one order that I do need to place for work on Mondays just because the lady at the supplier we use is so annoying.
Just a blah day here. Tired and unmotivated with a touch of nausea. Being so unproductive makes me feel a hundred times worse. I'll probably try to nap when DS is down since it looks like today will be a wash anyway. Such a drag after a fun filled weekend!
Sorry for everyone dealing with nausea. It's a beast. Diclegis stopped helping with the nausea sometime last week but the nausea is mainly bad at night now so that's....something. We FINALLY got our 9 month old to sleep in her crib in her room. She's only waking once or twice for a bottle so it's so much better than it used to be. I'm taking my oldest (11 yo) out for mani/pedis and a nice lunch and leaving the baby with H. I'm really excited for some older girl time!

I actually felt decent this morning. I got some laundry done but the challenge will be actually putting it away. I still feel overwhelmed by the amount of shit I need to do to get the house back in order. I have been so tired and unmotivated that the house has become a shit show. I don't even know where to begin. I also feel anxious about vacation because I've done zero to prepare. We still have four weeks to go but I can't help feeling totally stressed. And of course my reaction to messy house, incomplete chores, and a monster to do list is to run to my bed and sleep... Which only makes my anxiety worse. I will stop whining now.
Hai guise! I didn't check in at all this weekend because Saturday was DS birthday and we spent all day cleaning and reorganizing the house, and then I had a wedding and THEN Sunday was his party and the reveal! Here's a picture of his rainbow cake and also of him after he demolished a piece of it. Chocolate ftw.

I know this has been discussed in the past but I'm lazy. What dopplers do you guys recommend?
***Warning: Rant ahead ***
Also, fuck today. If I could go just one week or even two without bad news, that'd be fucking great.
1. When I was trying to enroll in March for all my little benefits, the company was switching to a new insurance carrier for disability, etc. I was excited to sign up with the new carrier because it doubled the length of time I could receive short term disability after baby and there wasn't a required enrollment period (my work offers no maternity leave and no pay when using FMLA). 2. They kept having issues getting things set up with new carrier and kept putting off my enrollment. No biggie because again, no required enrollment time. 3. Found out last week that we are no longer working with said carrier and will be switching back to original carrier. Cue frustration. 4. New carrier only gives 6 weeks paid for childbirth AND you have to be enrolled at least 10 months to receive childbirth related ST disability. 5. We will be down to one pay check and H only works part time because of school. I have no idea how we're going to have enough money saved in time. 6. Bring on the waterworks.
This is my first week of summer break so I'll be able to actually participate now! Currently waiting at the OBs office to just have a medical history appointment but they know my medical history so I'm hoping it's short. I'm so not used to being home by myself all day with DD...this day is dragging. We need to get into a good routine soon.
Man. I got hit with a MEGA craving for freshly popped popcorn. Which, lucky for me, I can get at work. Usually. Except for today apparently. I may or may not have cried.

GOT was awesome last night. I'm sorry thelittleredm, about the benefits.
I posted on the scan appointments thread. The babies looked great and were so wiggly. No issues were detected & the blood work was done for the NIPT. I also am getting a 16 week scan to help ease the anxiety of knowing the babies are ok.
I'm making crock pot minestrone and enjoying the rest of the day off with H.
I only have a 3-day week (DH is taking Thursday & Friday off, and he has Monday off because of the 4th, so mini-vacation!) but I just don't wanna do this week. It's vacation Bible school at church, and fortunately it's only an hour and a half each night, but there's so much work involved to get set up. I have to feed 60 inner-city elementary school kids every night. I'm currently putting off making a ton of sandwiches for tonight because I'm exhausted and nauseous and don't want to move.
