E would not go to sleep last night. Finally at 10 I just put her in her crib and she fell asleep without crying. Then we were up at 530. Mommy needs a nap.
I found nail Polish at 5 below that is kid friendly. $4 for 6 little bottles. I painted her toe nails this morning.
She is soaking right now but I think we will end it today. Her rash is 95% gone.
Running to the store and around town nothing else much on the agenda today for us.
Heyyy. Just dropped the baby off and we are heading out on a winery road trip with our employees! Should be a fun day. She seemed pretty comfortable there, we hung out for a bit just to make sure. Much better than last Friday night, that's for sure.
Negative hpt this morning. I'm good. Excited about our upcoming Fl trip, we booked our flights (doing a red eye) hoping it doesn't backfire on us! And booked our car..
H is off for 3 days and I'm so excited to have him around!!!
We're at the river house. F fell asleep on the way down (we left at bedtime last night) and then woke when we got here for two hours. She was an absolute mess. It took crying, nursing, cio, walking around, etc to finally get her to fall asleep. She slept until about 6.
Making a quick run into town for diapers then heading out on the boat!
It took me about 6 hours but I got all the LLR photographing done last night with the help of A! I'm so glad to have it done before vacation! We are going to a 4th party tonight and then leaving for the beach first thing in the morning. I'm excited to be on vacation but also anxious to get back and have my launch!
It has been a rough morning. P still has a fever and didnt want to eat or drink. I dont think ive seem him cry this much since he was a newborn. But Motrin worked like some crazy fucking black magic voodoo shit. Seriously, Ive never seen Motrin work this well for him before. Im bowing down to the Motrin gods this morning.
And the Caffine gods. They got a special place in my heart, too.
Good morning! We are trying to get the house straightened up a bit before we head out to the pool. Hoping for great naps afterward since the kids will be up late. It's our city's fireworks night and they shoot them off right across the street from us. So we always have guests to enjoy the great view and we do a big BBQ. I'm sure we'll be running around like crazy getting things done up until people get here... I know it will be fun but I'm already exhausted!
@megaugust10- Adorable painted toes! I want to do V's! ladymike- Yay for some baby-free time. She will be fine! babys2015- Glad you retested and you're all good. So nice that H will be home some extra time! rvamama- Yuck to the rough night. Hopefully today will make up for it! coleybug13- Have a wonderful trip!! ruemorgan- So glad Motrin worked well for P! Hang in there! sjep922- What's the A/C status? Hope you guys got someone out to the house last night and if not, I hope A was able to settle down and sleep a bit for you. We had a major power outage last year the night of a 105 degree day and were seriously ready to go to a hotel. Just awful.

So my friend is being induced today at 28 weeks due to severe atypical preeclampsia. She's obviously scared but she's very religious and is leaning on God for this. Her mom had a stroke about two months ago, so Lord knows their family is under a lot of stress. They started the induction at 9am and I haven't heard anything since then. Any T&Ps would be appreciated. Other than that, N and I were up early and have already been to the post office, Hobby Lobby (got a tutu order last night), and Walmart. Kid gets hangry so often anymore. I cannot keep the food coming fast enough. While waiting for his fish sticks to cook, he's already had pretzel sticks, goldfish, a fruit pouch, and pudding. My guess is he's not going to eat the fish sticks... I'm hoping to do our landscaping and workout while he naps. If not, I'll workout after he's in bed. We have dinner with a group of friends tomorrow at the Brazilian steakhouse and then a cookout on Monday. Food everywhere and my 21 day fix doesn't end for another week...
portuguesemama- So scary about your friend!! Let us know how the Brazilian steakhouse is! There's one in the city but we haven't made a trip out there yet. It sounds delish!
Someone went to our house around 9:30 last night. He said he couldn't find anything wrong. So we set the AC to 77 and slept at my mums.
Came back this morning and it was cooling according to the thermostat, but still feels warm and sticky. After only 45 min home the temp is already rising a couple of degrees.
So now we're calling them back out. Ugh. They better get here quickly because I'm one unhappy mama.
A is a mess and I'm just in a bad mood in general.
sjep922 - FX they find out what's wrong! 77 is so hot. Haha.
That's cold when it's over 100 out! Ha ha. We don't really ever set it below 76/77. We just wanted to make sure it was cooling. And it did for a bit, but then it turned itself off and now it's back on but not cooling.
It's like it works until it gets too hot and then just stops.
