Through a bit of trial and error lately I've realised my big guy really wants to be eating every hour and a half to hour and three quarters. Two hours is max for him during the day.
Which is a lot! I feel like I'm pretty much stuck to him all day right now.
We are getting better sleeps since I started doing it but I really thought we'd be pushing out to three hourly by now. I know I was with my DD.
Have an LC appt next week so I'm sure she'll clear some things up if I'm wrong but so far it has resulted in a much more settled baby who doesn't end up beside himself every two hours.
Glad you figured it out! I just pop a boob in lo's mouth whenever she cries. Usually solves the problem lol
We moved the crib into the bedroom because the bassinet isn't really working out. Had to remove two different doors and take apart half of the crib to do it. Well, she didn't want to sleep in it at all last night and clung to me almost the entire time. Come on child!
rubykitten I hope she will start to sleep better in there! We are moving ry to his room when we get back from vaca the 2nd week in August hopefully it goes well
S hates clothes of any kind. If he has anything on at home other than a diaper its a onesie and that's only because he can't figure out how to snap it yet.
DS is still not big on taking a bottle at daycare so he is reverse cycling. He is sleeping all day at daycare and then trying to eat all night. The daycare teach erst say he just smiles and coos at them when they try to feed him, so he is not unhappy which is good. I just wish we could go back to one wake up per night.
Did you guys see that Mick Jagger is a dad again? He's 72. SMH.
And his baby mama is 29 😧
Yikes. I just don't think it's fair to the child. The average life expectancy of men in the US is like 78. In order to even make it to the kid's 18th birthday, he will have to live to 90.

I got school uniforms for D. One jumper, two logo polos, pants and shorts. All free!
Awesome! Our school district just announced they are ending the school's dress code. Before they could only wear maroon or black tops and black or khaki bottoms but now anything, for the most part, is acceptable. I've already bought mostly everything they need for the upcoming year. Oh well I guess they will be the boring kids until they need new stuff.
Our district is always making changes with very little if any notice. So annoying.

That sounds rough!!!
I am just holding out hope that this is a short term thing, and have taken to bed sharing to survive.

I don't know why I got away from doing the same but I think it was after a bit of pressure from our plunket service here (a service here that see you until baby is 5 to provide advice and support and do all the tracking). They inferred I was defaulting to the boob too easily. I'm normally less easily affected by them and their 'advice' but seem to have taken it on board along the way and expected longer stretches rather than just going with the demand. Dumb : (
I just got some real giggles out of DS! He has been doing his own funny version of a giggle for like a month. But today it sounded like a real baby giggle! It made me so happy that tears were running down my cheeks!
Night one in the crib went pretty well. She woke up at 3 which is a pretty normal time for her to want to eat if she is going to do a MOTN feed.
When I went to hit the button to turn the video portion of the monitor on the low battery light started flashing. So I was pretty disappointed that a full charge didn't last all night. So after feeding her she came back to bed in our room.
Hopefully tonight goes just as well!
Good luck! Our second night was the toughest but #3 was much easier.
LO has been terrible to get to sleep for the past week. Today was particularly difficult. I handed LO to DH to take a turn walking him around and bouncing him and DH goes "I'm so tired of doing this". Um... Me too, dude. I did it all day while on maternity leave.
I'm so sorry I don't remember, are you breastfeeding? That usually knocks DS right out. Or do you have a carrier so that you can walk around with him without his full weight in your arms?
I need this kid to sleep. Ever since our road trip last weekend he has been rejecting sleeping in the bassinet. The second I put him down his eyes pop open. I am so tired. When we bed share, I barely sleep because I am so cold because I'm too scared to put any blankets on for fear of covering S. Today he was a nightmare when we went out with my parents. He normally loves my mom, but today he gave her the saddest faces and screamed when she held him. I hope this is all just part of the tail end of leap 3, and I will get my happy, good sleeping baby back. Oh also yesterday he rejected all naps because I put DH in charge. S has a really hard time relaxing with H.

I am going through something similar. I hope it passes for you quickly!
