Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the zipadee zip? DD will be rolling over any day now so trying to think of what the next plan of action is. We tried one arm swaddled out last night and she was up 3 times.
Looks like they don't have access to their hands? I mean I guess it depends on the baby, but DS would be pissed if he couldn't put his hands in his mouth.
We have been using sleep sacks/wearable blankets, with a long-sleeve onesie underneath.
So nice to have friends with babies close in age to our LO. My maid of honor had her baby in January and now my H's best man had his little guy this week. So 3 babies in an 8 month span!
My best friend and his wife had their first 6 weeks before DD (he came a month early) and have just had their second 3 months later than LO. It's been so fun having our first kids the same age with camping trips and play dates etc and I'm excited about our seconds playing together too. We're already planning lots of long hot summers in tents with our big blended gang.
Just got home from Target to buy diapers (thanks kendylouwho) and pacifiers. Came home with diapers, pacifiers, vitamins, laundry detergent, glade plug-ins, two wicker baskets, changing table cover, sleep sack, plastic storage container, and a copy of the new "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."
Oops.
We have a store here called The Warehouse which has a similar effect for me. Last week I went in for a new basket to put under the coffee table with LOs nappies, wipes etc in and came out $200 poorer. The basket was $9!
My ILs are driving me nuts. We went out to eat after the baptism as a big group. S is sleeping so I left him in the carseat and put him on the side of the table. We are all seated and MIL said she needed an end seat. My family had all been seated on the end to make it easier to see S. Seriously?
H then tells me that in the service that she wanted to hold S right before he handed him to me since he was getting fussy. She acted put out. Stop acting like you are owed to hold him.
Stuff like this makes me so annoyed. I mean, Come on.
DH and I cleaned up DS' nursery today. It looks so nice again! We also went through all of his clothes. Packed away all his 0-3, and hung up all his 3-6. Man time is flying!

I did the same this weekend! I was looking at DS's 0-3 month clothes and they look so small now. I remember when I first got them out and he was swimming in them! So crazy

I have been awake for 2.5 hours and have:
-made breakfast for DH and saw him off to work -fed and watered chickens -made pancakes for children -nursed baby -cleaned puke off couch from 3yo -showered 3yo -did one load of laundry -harvested veggies from garden (had to get done while baby was napping) -cleaned puke off kitchen floor -showered 3yo -changed baby diaper
Finally just got dressed and brushed my teeth. Sitting down to eat some breakfast and drink the cold tea I made for myself two hours ago. What are the chances I make it through my meal without an interruption?
