M was up at 5, had a bottle and went back to sleep. Just getting up now. I'm going to get dressed then donating blood. This afternoon we are heading downtown to the Bluesfest. I'm hoping it's not too hot!

Little Bones and I are watching TV. We hear Littlest over the monitor. DS1 says he wants to go upstairs to get DS2. He gets to the stairs and says "no, Mommy. You stay downstairs. Watch Bob the Builder and drink your coffee."
@janetheconquerer yes I'm really looking forward to the Bluesfest! It is really well done. 3 main stages, as well as about 8-10 Restaurants with music all day for 3 days! Plus food trucks and other festival type booths! Plus it is close to a large park and splash pad.

H is away and MIL might come by today to watch Ida so I can get things done around the house. I don't even know where to begin. Food store? Laundry? Clean the bathrooms? Gather clothes to donate? Unpack more boxes? The possibilities are endless!*
Speaking of not getting out much, I was making plans with a friend I haven't seen in a looong time. Asked if her H would join us and she goes, "Well, we'll be skydiving that morning and ziplining the day before, so he might want to get some things done."
Oh. Right. Yea we go skydiving in our spare time too, no big deal...*scrubs mushed banana off of floor while holding screaming child*

DS1 comes home today. My mom is coming to stay a few days and I'm going to knock out a few appointments that I haven't been able to do because it'd be challenging with two kids in tow.
H and I get some alone time tonight. A friend of his is getting married. The wedding is in one of my favorite areas in the town we moved from last year and the reception is at the college we went to. I'm excited for a night alone with H.
Oh, psa for Texas moms, it is tax free shopping weekend and diapers are included! Going to target later to stock up: but 2 jumbo packs, Get $15gift card and a cartwheel for 10% off. Planning to grab some clothes in her next size with the gift card
If you don't want to go to the stores, online shopping is tax free as well.

My mind would go to snuggle up with coffee and a trashy novel and just relax for like 2 hours.
Then scrub kitchen and bathrooms. I hate a dirty kitchen and bathroom more than anything else.
So I'm dealing with M not wanting to go to Spero because he's pulling himself up in his crib so much. He doesn't care that I had laundry to fold.
Nothing much going on today except cleaning. I do need to run to Michael's to get the least item so I can send out my elf gift finally. I'm a terrible buddy this time. Hopefully they think it's worth the wait.

Enjoy!
I should probably go to target but not sure I want to deal with crowds. I think we are going to go to the coffee shop after M wakes from his nap.
I'm preping for DSs 1 bday party tomorrow. I can't believe it's here. He turns 1 Monday.
I decided on avengers them, focusing on Hulk. He's my favorite and DS reminds me of the hulk sometimes. I can't wait for him to smash his hulk smash cake!

DD was way too tired for the zoo. Instead we took her to build a bear and ds built one for her, complete with his voice saying I love you. So adorable. And we got her a Disney princess suitcase that's not too puke pink haha.
Hi ladies, I'm making a concerted effort to get back to my a15 roots and participate more over here. Im still home on summer break so I have no excuse and I miss you and you updates about your families for those who are not on FB. So I'm back for now and hopefully a while.
