Despite my gif, I woke up in a really good mood. Plus I'm at Panera having a sandwich and coffee by myself. This is the best new habit I am forming!!

We had a good weekend. H took me on a date Saturday- dinner, drinks, and to see Bad Moms. It was a really good night out. The movie wasn't until 10p but we left at 7 and just took our time. Had a lot of drinks and just laughed all night.

Then yesterday I somehow managed to keep it going by drinking.. a lot.. of beer during nap time and just shooting the shit with h in the pool for 3 hours.

Things have been good.

Also, it looks like I am officially done breastfeeding. Ds woke up Saturday morning and I went to do my usual nurse then put him back to sleep. He just stood in his crib crying after. So I gave him a cup of milk. He sucked it down and happily went back to sleep. I haven't nursed him since then. No engorgement either.

I wasn't on much this weekend so I'm still catching up. We had C's first birthday party on Saturday. The taco bar was a huge hit! But C has 4 teeth coming in, got 4 shots on Friday and is going through some serious stranger anxiety. She was definitely slow to warm up to people during her party, but by the end was having a great time! Glad it's over, but crazy to think my baby days are done.

Of course, my H started talking about having another last night. I think he's sadder about the end of baby days than I am.

Oh, also, for those keeping track, IT did not fix my computer last week in the window I gave them (shocking), but said they'd come to fix my computer again this morning. It's like I'm stuck in a bad sitcom at this point.

It is. I was telling this to h yesterday. It's a weird feeling. I was ready for it to be done, but like dd, I was hoping it'd be on ds's terms. Not because I physically couldn't do it anymore.

But it is what it is and I need to just focus getting a small sliver of myself back. I've pretty much been nursing straight for the last 3 years!

Today is the twins' first day of preschool. This is going to be life-changing for me. I am so excited!

I just dropped jack off for his first day at his new daycare. He didn't even bat an eye when I left, he was already happily playing with toys. This daycare is awesome. There are three teachers at all times in the infant room and only six kids including jack. They provide diapers, wipes, and food too which is super cool. Everyone there is so nice and really on top of things. I'm so glad I got him into this daycare.

I'm feeling a little better today but my breast still hurts. I called the OB's office and they are calling me in antibiotics for suspected mastitis.
I called out sick to work which makes me feel uncomfortable.

Update to neighbor PA FB post: Originally, I thought our HOA rules restricted street parking. I remember over the weekend that it restricts OVERNIGHT street parking.

I'm considering parking my car in the street all week and then moving back into the driveway before going to bed.

Apparently after I complained enough. IT guy just left. He told me he's requesting that I get a new computer because this is one is still having problems after its been reimaged and IT has tried to fix it a few times.

BUT. He also said there's a chance I won't get approved for a new one. Because $$$. A coworker of mine just waited a month for a new one, and the "new" one she got is actually a reimaged computer that's older than the one I have. Hell. No.

We had a pretty great weekend on the beach. Stayed up past 2 am almost every night and got up at 6 so H and I are both exhausted and took turns napping yesterday. w loveud the sand and wasn't afraid of the ocean at all.

The party yesterday was a success! Today is DS actual birthday so I left up the decorations and we are celebrating with just the 4 of us (plus my Dad he flies out tomorrow morning).

And no tears over here just as I expected.

We have little gym class today, and then someone is coming to tune our piano. This is a piano we bought off the previous house owners, and it's reeeeaally out of tune. I'm hoping we can use it to accompany us singing happy birthday this weekend, because I'm cheesy like that.

Ida had a big fall yesterday. H put her in her high chair then came over to the sink to get her tray. She pushed off the table with her feet and fell straight backwards onto the floor, hitting her head. It was so sad. Also, ouch.

We went out for date night while my parents watch B. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep. Next time it's date day. Screw losing anymore sleep.

Also, super confused. B HATES cows milk so far. He goes so far as to wipe off his tongue after trying it. But has wayyy scaled back on nursing. So no cows milk and very little mama's milk. IDK. He's been snotty and sleeping like crap since trying cows milk but fine during the day. I'm not sure if it's teething or mild lactose intolerance. And I'm even more stumped at the lack of breastfeeding he's doing. Is he self weaning, and I should just let it go, or is he feeling crappy and I'm going to need to keep up my supply for when he feels better?
