I've tried to transfer E to the bassinet unsuccessfully 3 times. Now he's laying in my bed just comfort nursing. I'm fucking exhausted. I'll usually bring him in my bed when he wakes up around 4am because it's only a short time until we wake up to get DD to school..I feel too nervous to cosleep the entire night but I don't know how much longer I can stay awake!

My night is not going well. I'm on the verge of tears because E won't go to sleep. Pretty sure she has reflux but her dr doesn't want to treat her until we try some other methods (keeping her upright for 30-45 min after she eats, trying to get her to take a pacifier so she's not using my nipples as one and overeating, getting her to sleep where she's a little elevated like in the rnp). None of those methods are working tonight. She's pissed and I'm tired and frustrated.
I'm sorry lady. We have the same baby. And same stupid Doctor. Hate that you're going brought this too. Hugs!
F hAs bad gas again tonight. I got one little burp out but he's still thrashing around. Sucking makes him feel better but it's a catch 22 because then he needs to be burped again and is wide awake so then he comfort nurses to fall asleep....which gives him gas...,so we burp...and then he's awake...[/repeat]

This is the reason we introduced the pacifier. He would scream bloody murder and want boob, but would scream more because he didn't want milk. I never wanted to use it, but it's a lifesaver for my sanity.
Well sleep sack is definitely a no go for us. So is not swaddling (although that was better than sleep sack). I put her back in the miracle blanket because I need some sleep to function but it's still too short and pretty sure that's waking her up. I may be going to the fabric store and getting some fabric to sew an addition to the feet pouch.
We did okay. Wake ups at 2:45 and 5:15, then again at 6:15 which sucked. I wish I knew why he wakes up after like 30/40 minutes. I guess it's just his sleep cycle. I got him back down and blasted white noise in addition to his sound machine. Every little creek and squeak wakes the baby up if it's past 5am.

The woombie worked for me last night the toddler woke me up before baby at 12:45. After i got the toddler taken care of ds started to stir it had been 4 hrs since he ate so i may have got even more than that if i wasn't already awake after the first stretch it wasn't really better but 4 hrs is so much better than 2

I'm dying tonight. First stretch was 3 hours, but I only slept for 1.5 hours. Then 1.5 hours with an hour being awake. Then 30 minutes. I'm feeding him and then giving him to H to deal with. I don't understand how some nights can be really good but then some can suck so much.

Sorry for all the rough nights! Coffee for everyone.
L did pretty good in his crib! A three hour stretch, two hours, 1.5 hours. I hate when he wakes for a feeding at 6:30am because I'm never sure whether to just get up for the day, or try to get him down again and sleep until DS1 wakes up. Which he did at 7am.
We did great for the first stretch. 10-2:30. I'll take it. Now if the rest of the night wouldn't be a shit show I would really appreciate that.
Merlin sleep suit comes tomorrow. According to the product information B is well into the height and weight requirements for it. We'll see.
I hope it works. It's been a miracle worker here. We've gotten 7-9 hour stretches with it in the last week (except that dumb night of ridiculous driving, he didn't wear it that night).
Sam's been up for about 40 minutes now nursing and fighting sleep. It's not even 6am here, no way in hell am I letting you wake up for the day now little dude.

F is like this. He's up at 1ish after 4ish hrs, 5ish after 3, then he'll sleep mayyyybe an hour after that unless I bring him into bed.
madamewaffles I just got it, of course B is already alseep in his crib for a nap.
How much does your LO weigh? I feel like it looks so big, but he is well over 12 pounds at this point.
My LO is I'm guessing around 14-15 lbs. It seems big but a lot of it is fluff. It can be kind of daunting to get him in the suit since it's kinda "stiff," mostly just because DS goes rigid when I'm trying to dress/undress him. But now that we've had practice, it takes much less time to wrangle him in there, and once it's zipped, he's content. For underneath, I recommend a lightweight onesie and socks. His feet were ice cubes when I picked him up after the first long stretch. But we keep the air pretty low at night (68), so might not be necessary if warmer at your place.
