I'm scared for this week. I'm solo parenting until Thursday night. Not that DH ever helps because HK is a pretty good sleeper. But Murphys law you know.

Oh no! Good luck. Hope this week goes by quickly!
Ds1 doesn't have school until Friday. It better not rain this week- I take stay cooped up with both kids again all week.
Last night sucked. First stretch was 2.5 hours and I passed out in the recliner for an hour with her nursing. Having her in the crib makes the bad nights a lot harder but at least it feels like progress. I am glad to be back in my bed with DH and have some semblance of normalcy.

littlesthobo watching the debate here too. I don't follow politics too much and embarrassingly this is the first time I've watched pretty much anything. But I just can't. I can't.
We keep flipping between the game and the debate... talk about a stressful Sunday evening!
Are the US debates always on in Canada? Interesting. Watching it is just making me uncomfortable.
They are, I think the majority of the tv channels we get are American. I stopped watching and lurked the debate thread in Parenting to get the gist of it.
The baseball game ended well! (Sorry jenn83, what a way to finish!)

Pretty much. I think most Canadians are generally knowledgeable about US politics. I'm assuming the opposite is not true lol. But what happens in your country affects ours quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if it was televised in many European countries also.

I think you're probably right about most Americans not being knowledgeable about Canadian politics. We happen to be in our house though since DH's best friend married a Canadian and they live in Ontario. We might actually visit them in the spring depending on how Irene is doing with car seats by then.
Welp. It looks like we are here again. I think the 4 month sleep regression is hitting us. It started last night and I was hoping it was just a random shitty night. I've had maybe 2 hours of sleep. She is breaking out of her swaddle every 45 minutes and waking herself up. I tried putting her down without it and she freaked the fuck out. My MM suit doesn't get here until Wednesday.
To top it off, when she was sleeping, J was coughing and woke me up every time I would fall asleep. My kids don't want me to sleep anymore.

Well the night wasn't horrible. He went from 10:30-1:45, 2-4:15. Which actually worked out okay because I needed to get up at 4:30 anyways. Now if we could just push that 10:30 bedtime to like..8:30-9:00, I'd be thrilled!

Well B did great, DS1 has been up four time since midnight though. What the hell dude. He wakes up screaming about nonsense. He is obviously dreaming, but he is screaming bloody murder. And then he's awake so he has to pee. Since he can't get out of his room or on the toilet by himself we need to go up there and help him.
Ugh. So tired. Hopefully B keeps up the awesomeness of tonight (only 3 wake ups) and we can sleep a little.

We have the same kids! Baby went to bed at 8 and was up at 12, 3, and then up for the day a bit after 6 (would love longer stretches for the 2nd half of the night but I can deal). However his brother was up so many times for no reason. Couldn't find a stuffed animal. Couldn't see Percy on his sheets (it was dark so of course not). Wanted to say hi to daddy. Wanted his blanket that he just pulled off. Ugh. I'm tired.
