It's 8:30 and E has been awake since 2. I washed the MM this morning and thought it would air dry in the 12 hours until bedtime, but nope, it was soaked when I grabbed it. Threw it in the dryer over 30 minutes ago, but it's still wet. I need that thing so letting E nurse forever until it's dry.
Ah the rolling! Found my swaddled & woombied little guy on his belly, twice. I'm not ready to stop swaddling. Giving him 1 arm out for the rest of tonight, but we may be joining team magic Merlin in the very near future.
Around 5:30 dh went in for paci replacement. Finding ds with his arm totally out of the woombie, because I had completely unsnapped one of the holes and pulled his arm out, dh put tucked his arm back in and buttoned the hole back up. 😂

In a pinch, you can use a blow dryer (on cool setting of course, and check before putting baby in it) in each hole (arms/legs) and dry it in about 10 min. I also learned the hard way that they take forever to dry!

Thank you! Yeah I couldn't believe how long it took to dry. Unfortunately, I don't even own a hair dryer anymore! I have curly hair and let it air dry. And having moved twice a year apart, I've gotten rid of so much that I don't really need. The hair dryer did not make the cut.
So what are the MM suits made of? They look like they would be super warm
There are two kinds, one is cotton and one is microfiber
I meant to buy the cotton one and bought the other one instead. Thought it would be really warm and it's not at all. G is always hot and he hasn't gotten too hot in it. I only have him in a diaper when we put it on him.
Hugs melody330 I hope your older son is better stat.
Baby R has slept really well the last 3 nights. I'm almost afraid to speak of it lest I jinx it. I feel like a human again and had a tiny bit of alone time for the first time since she was born.
The first rule you should know when you have a kid who is a good sleeper is that you never speak of their sleeping habits IRL or on a message board, lest you jinx yourself for many years to come. Believe me, I learned this the hard way with my older daughter.
OMG this sleep suit is magic! For the first time in her little life, E slept for 6 hours!! Feeding now and hoping for one more little stretch before I have to get up and do a million things to get ready for DD's birthday party this weekend.

Long night for me. A could not breathe well laying down, so I held him upright in the recliner all night. I think I slept from 11-3, but idk. Did I mention MH is sick* too? So I'm solo.
*man sick, which is like a sniffle but requires 24-48 hours bedrest and lots of complaining.
I'm in disbelief. He slept 8-2:15 and then 3-? It's 6:30 now and if he's awake, he's not being loud enough for me to get him. He definitely sleeps better at night on days where he doesn't nap well. Exactly like my older son - never napped but slept well at night.
Last night was bad. DD1 woke me up and wouldn't go back to sleep during Irene's first stretch. Then they took turns throughout the rest of the night. Ugh.

My life. Ds1 is on a steroid, a stimulant and antibiotic. He had the WORST night terrors last night. At the worst he was literally trying to climb his wall screaming. After that H got in bed with him and I took B in bed with me.
F has been moaning all day and spiked a fever so we brought him to the ER.
They think it's just constipation so they said to just keep feeding him, give him water from a bottle, and Tylenol as need. poor dude. I wish I could just squish him like a tube of toothpaste and get it out.
Ray I didn't think BF babies could even get constipated? Poor guy, hope he gets better soon and you get some sleep.
That's what I thought too you can feel him and hear him trying to push something out though with no luck. The doc said he could feel it.
How long has it been since he pooped? I'm surprised they said water and not a suppository first. We had to insert a glycerin suppository for DS1 around this age and it worked almost instantly.
