In going to murder my one dog. He just tore the garbage in our room to shreds. He is super high energy and a ball of nerves. Our other dog is super chill and an awesome pit bull.
It's hard to walk him because he is very leash reactive, so we have to wait until dusk/dark to do it so we don't encounter many people or other dogs. And even after repeated talks with our neighbors there are still two or three houses that let their dogs wonder the unfenced yard. I can't stand off leash dogs. They don't understand that MY dog isn't okay with others, even if theirs is.

melody330 I hear you on the off leash dogs. My dog just wants to herd everything and can't be trusted around new dogs. We have a trailway near our house and everyone seems to have their dogs off leash even though they need to be leashed by law. It annoys me when the owners say "don't worry, he's friendly!". Now I just respond with "mine will bite yours"; gets them moving quick! I can't tell you how many times I've been nipped and scratched trying to keep my dog under control around unleashed dogs.
melody330 our dog was like that on a leash so I feel your pain. It is so stressful. I wanted to punch all the "oh don't worry, my dog is friendly!" morons. Well, mine isn't, so if yours runs over here, my dog's going to eat him.
We're just hanging out. DD1 is home so I'll take them to the park in a bit. I'm finally getting this meal planning thing down and it feels good to know what I'm doing for dinner and not have to run to the store for 2 things.
My cousin and his wife just found out their baby is a boy. I am disappointed because I reallly wanted someone to give all my girl clothes to lol.

Was going to go to playgroup, but I think we'll just go to the playground instead since there's no hard timeline to get out the door. Then we can swing by the grocery store since I am out of coffee cream! Horrors!
DH is home sick. All this messes up my routine. But at least I get time to do other things.
Endo cancelled my appointment so now I have to reschedule it. This appointment was made during 2nd trimester. And it's always a few months out. I kind of just want to forget the whole thing with how long it's taking.
W's neck stretches are getting much easier. Now to get him to look to the right! Pretty sure we will be doing the helmet for him just to reshape his head. It would be annoying always having a head shaped looking to the left. There is also a chance his plates fused early.
Today hopefully I will get the living room cleaned and the dogs bed washed.
Baby was up early and dd slept in. I tried to put him down for his first nap so I could get dressed and get dd up. Within 3 minutes he was screaming because he'd rolled to his belly. Sigh. I put him in the swing where he can't roll, but nope that was the end of that nap so he only slept 15 mins from ~6:45 - just before 10. Thankfully we got out for a hike and playground time and he slept in my Tula for an hour and a half. Now we're home, dd is down for nap, ds just passed out on me and I'm going to try the crib again for a few minutes to myself.
cavewmn I'm taking B to his PT eval tomorrow. Any tips? I'm nervous about it.
The pedi is giving us one month of doing the stretches on our own before sending us to PT. It's his left neck muscle. So while he lays down we hold his left shoulder to the floor and push his head to make him look right and hold it there for 3 seconds. After a week it's getting a ton easier!
For his flat head he is not suppose to lay down unless he is sleeping. We ended up getting the sit me up to save my hands. Also after each diaper change, tummy time for a minute or two. Until he screams.
In bed we are suppose to prop his left side up but he just screams or wiggles off of it.

I think my pedi jumped the gun with a PT referral. He can look to both sides just fine, and his flat spot is barely there behind his ear. We will see what they say tomorrow.
She showed me the stretch you are talking about and he does it just fine for me. Glad the stretches are going well for you!
Today is painful. Yesterday I went back to the gym so today I'm soooooo sore. M is having a wonder week or growth spurt or something. He's sleeping a ton but only held or in a carrier, so I'm lugging him around with muscles on fire. If I put him down he screams his "I'm so tired" cry. Silly baby.
I have a stew in the crockpot. DD has dance after school. I am planning a boring night.
My DH is flying out of state for a wedding this weekend. I'm jealous and not looking forward to 3 nights solo. He works a lot but he always gives me a breather (usually spent making dinner and doing laundry) after work and I'm going to be crazy until Sunday afternoon.

Great news! My employer is letting me WFH with the understanding of wacky hours 3 days a week and my mom is going to take him the other 2 days. No daycare for a yearish. This means we get to move forward with listing the house and looking for lots to build on.

Didn't make it out the door to the playground this morning. But I got two loads of laundry done and one is even folded! DS1 had a bad poop and the couch smelled like poop so I scrubbed it down. Livin' a life of glamour up in here.

Hey guys. I had a busy weekend, taking the kids to the apple orchard and a bonfire at church. We made homemade applesauce, apple pie, vegetable stew, and bread. I cooked all weekend but it was so worth it.

H has a work dinner so tonight is my first night tackling bedtime solo with both boys. Even when H is here and we split the duties, bedtime is a shitshow that takes forever. This should be fun.
E has been passed out in his car seat for almost 3 hours! Very unheard of. Has slept through preschool pickup, lunch out at Panera, and didn't wake up when I brought the car seat inside when we got home. Not complaining, but I'm going to have one cranky hungry baby when he finally wakes up!
Flint actually did not bad today. He napped for about 30 mins before lunch in the stroller at Canadian Tire and Timmies. When we got home he was up for a bit and then slept for 45 mins, woke up, I ignored him, and he actually fell back asleep decently quickly and slept another 45.
He was yawning a bunch during supper so I'm going to push my luck and attempt to get him down for an early evening nap too.

I sorted through the 3-6 and 6-9 month baby clothes. Holy hell I have SO MANY from DD1's showers, including lots she never or barely wore. And we have gotten a ridiculous amount of clothes for Baby R as gifts. It's kind of overwhelming.

Started last week thursday so i feel like today should be friday already. The first day back is overwhelming but aftwr that work gets easier for me. Evenings are crazy I pretty much feel like I am ignoring one kid or the other the entire time just to get food on the table and the bottles washed, baths etc. Hopefully it will get easier maybe by next july 😁

Had a crap day here. DD was a pain all day and DS would barely nap at all, which is unlike him. I'm currently having a beer. We're doing story time tomorrow and a play date after.
UO: I really hate story time. The books the lady reads to a group of 2-3year olds are wayyy too long. And they always have a craft that I have to do the majority of. I only go because it's a way to get out of the house. Hopefully they become more fun.
