Trying swaddled arms out tonight. I figure if she's sleeping like crap anyway may as well just transition from the swaddle now. Giving the MMSS away because that thing did not help us.

Good luck! Arms out is rough for us, except he usually rolls over and then he's ok for a bit.

Tonight is fun. I went to bed at 9:45. Baby up by 11:15. DD1 up at 12:15. Baby up at 1:15. Can't wait to see how the rest of the night goes based on that pattern.
Well looks like it's every two hours here. Newborn sleep at 3 months old. I don't know if it's the swaddle transition or something else though. She's ravenous and acting like she hasn't been fed just two hours ago.

$70? I got mine on Amazon for $35!
Canadian $$
they were even more expensive on Amazon because of shipping/imports I guess?
Any way - perhaps we have figured out the magic. When he starts fussing just be totally exhausted and ignore him. Fall back asleep by accident, and he will also fall back asleep. Jk obviously lol but that is what happened tonight and he slept nearly 7 hours. What a fart head. Babies are weird.
This sucks. Baby has been eating around 12 and 4. Tonight he didn't wake until 1:15. Needed a paci and a bum pat at 3:15. Still woke at 4:15. Gave him his pacifier 3 times, but every time I got back to bed he'd spit it out and started yelling. Tried to hold him, but he's so freaking restless and still kept spitting out the paci and squirming. Fine, decided to feed him and get it over with so I can go back to bed. Nope, he just kept pulling on my nipples and popping off. So incredibly frustrating. I had to put him back in the crib and try to go calm myself down while he just screamed.
Now I've wrapped his arms in, turned up the white noise, and am holding him and he seems to be settling. Not sure if I should try to put him back in the crib and hope he doesn't roll on his face or just sit here and hold him.
And the toddler was up at 10:30 and 12:30. Between the two I've not had even 1.5 hours of straight sleep.
I don't remember 3 months being this bad with DD1. Can I be hopeful that we just hit the 4 month sleep regression early?
I think 3.5 months is when dd went from sleeping 8 - 9 hours to up 3, 4 times a night.
Ds is about 3.5 months, with an earlier due date. The wonderweeks app has a lightening bolt for us this week - seems pretty accurate. He's doing new things, watching everything really intently, and excited about toys. And his sleep stinks during the day too! He just can't stay asleep. And distracted nursing has started - he'd rather look at me and be goofy or see what big sister is up to.

At 3 months J started sleeping horrible like up every 1-2 hours. Not letting me put her down. She'll be 4 months on Saturday and in the last week she's been sleeping so much better again. She even took a 2 1/2 hour nap in her crib yesterday. Last night she was up every hour again but I feel a tooth poping through so I'm assuming that's why.
I mean....did you see the picture I posted. I'm really not doing it. I'm a fucking mess.
Hey as long as you're surviving right now that's all that matters. Do whatever you have to. Sleep deprivation is so hard. I remember crying every time DD1 woke me up because I was just so tired. Vent as much as you need to and if it makes you feel any better I'm a mess too.

A went from good sleeper to shit sleeper around 3.5 months, maybe a bit earlier. I have been hoping that was the regression for her. We have rebounded slightly now, but it is still not always as good as it was.
Big hugs for all the crappy 3 month sleepers. E turns 3 months Friday, and his sleep has been getting slowly worse each day for the past week. I'm scared!
This isn't really sleep related, but I thought it was funny. E has started pooping in the MOTN again which is just annoying and makes the wakeup take forever bc it wakes him up a lot. I couldn't get him back to sleep so I threw the dreaded pacifier in his mouth. I guess it worked, but when I got him this morning, it was halfway across the room. I guess he really does hate that thing!
