Ugh. Growth spurt or wonder week or whatever had him up every 2 hours, only he didn't even do his 7-11 stretch and was up at 9 crying as I was fighting with DD to go to sleep. She sobbed that I nursed him and couldn't snuggle her. It was epicly ugly until 10. Then he was up at 11 and 1, 5, and 7.
I put B down 1.5 hours after I normally do. I tried to get him to nap in his swing but he just cooed and watched DS1 upstairs. I gave up and just brought him to his room. Out cold.
Last night sucked. And pretty sure E woke up the older one so both kids were up a lot. We had 1.5 weeks of awesome sleep. I tried to not get too excited, but I did. And now I'm annoyed that we are back to crappy nights. Lesson learned to never get too comfortable with good sleep!

I have no idea. Not a cold. I keep going "it's the growth spurt" but I'm pretty sure that only lasts a few days lol
We're trying to break the nurse to sleep habit so maybe he's just not going to sleep as soundly? I'm at a loss.
Is there a reason why you're trying to break the nurse to sleep habit? If it works, why give it up?
DH doesn't have boobies lol He'll be staying home with F until May and I thought it might be harder for DH since F is used to nursing to sleep for me, and if he's relying on that, there's not much DH can do to get him to sleep for naps I've been trying to sub the pacifier for my boob so at least H can give him that.
Ray I get what you mean, but I would still nurse to sleep if that's what got everyone the most sleep! Ds1 nursed to sleep for a loooooong time. As long as it wasn't me who was trying to put him down, he did just fine without the boob!

I get your mindset, but I'll offer my anecdote..I always nurse to sleep at night, sometimes during the day. Other times he falls asleep during naps just by me rocking him. But I'm at work full time, MIL has E during the day & he goes down for naps without nursing. He'll adjust. Maybe nurse to sleep at night & not during the day? Or have H be in charge of getting him down for naps when he's home.

I agree! I FF and L always gets bottle fed to sleep. Your H will find what works for him, and F will figure it out.
We put E down at 7:00, and she needed a dream feed around 9:00, but then was up at 11:30, 2:00, and then I lost count. She is so congested from this stupid cold DD brought home from preschool 2 weeks ago now. I can't wait until we are all healthy and able to sleep again!
I officially hate preschool. DS1 brought home another cold that E got as well. They were both up a million times last night. H and I are barely functioning.

Love tit for commiseration. Fucking preschool germs. 😤

Sleep gods - I have to go see Thomas and Percy tomorrow in the pouring rain. That alone is going to be brutal. So just let my kids sleep tonight. Or I might not survive tomorrow. Thanks.
Went to the hayride and she did great and nursed and went right to bed. However I am being momma bear currently and not going to sleep because she is running a low grade temp (99-100.4). It may be she got a little overheated from the hayride.
